1. Favourite hotel? Amanpuri in Phuket – there’s something about the site and the private beach that makes the experience magical. 2. Favourite restaurant?Having kaiseki dinner at the Tawaraya Inn in

Kyoto. It’s the entire atmosphere created by having dinner set in your own room, on the tatami, after taking a hot bath in the wooden bathtub.3. Favourite grooming product?Aesop – an effective and intelligent, botanical-based solution with a beautiful brand image.4. Favourite clothing brand/designer?Yohji Yamamoto and Comme des Garçons. In the past few years I have bought more clothes from these designers than any others. They both deal with fashion from a very structuralist perspective, which is interesting for an architect. 5. Good cause? The Cambodian Children’s Fund.

1. Favourite hotel? Aman at Summer Palace in Beijing – it’s a very peaceful and zen place, especially walking through the Summer Palace which can be accessed directly from the hotel. 2. Favourite restaurant?I’m still looking. I’m searching for the best beef noodle soup in the world and so far Taiwan is the most impressive place. 3. Favourite grooming product?I have used Redken Rough Paste 12 for years to style my hair. It’s the best product for Asian hair.4. Favourite clothing brand/designer?There isn’t one designer I wear religiously. My style is very simple, yet detailed. 5. Balance in your life?For me, balance is to be in a positive state, mentally and physically. That includes swimming, studying martial arts, muay thai, reading, learning, creating and remaining open to new things and giving back.
