MEADOW HEIGHTS PRIMARY SCHOOL’S GOT TALENT

An exciting event is going to happen at Meadow Heights Primary School on Friday November 7th. This

event is a talent show – Meadow Height’s Primary School’s Got Talent and will be held outside on the

basketball court (weather permitting). There will be two shows: 9:30am – 11am and 11:30 – 1pm. Our

Glee Club as well as some students in Years 2 to 6 have been selected to perform a range of acts. We

urge parents and caregivers to come along and see the tremendous talent we have at our school.

See you there!

PROFESSOR BUNSEN - GRADE 5

In term 4 the grade 5 students are investigating “Kitchen Science”. This unit of work involves a look at the different ways we cook food and the type of ingredients that cause change in the food we eat when cooked. These experiments will explore the concepts of change and help them to distinguish between the nature of the processes of mixing, dissolving, melting, boiling and evaporating. On Friday the 10th of October Professor Bunsen visited the grade 5 students demon-strating exciting experiments with a WIZZ and a BANG!

LAST FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH IS A NUDE FOOD DAY AT M.H.P.S

Everyone at Meadow Heights Primary School is expected to bring nude food to school and take their rubbish home with them on the last Friday of every month. Disposal bags will be available at Sick Bay.

What is Nude Food Day?

Essentially, kids bring their food – nude! This will reduce the amount of rubbish that goes into the bins, that goes into ground that pollute our planet.

Thank you! EAT TEAM
