BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

Please briefly present the partner organization.

E-SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL GROUP has been founded and is operating since September 2003. ESCHOOL has a multitude of cooperating organizations through Greece, in many fields of expertise. E-SCHOOL’s base is the city of Karditsa, but can organize training and learning seminars and projects in various other cities as well, such as Patra, Athens, Trikala, Larisa, Volos, Ioannina, Thessaloniki etc. We have worked with most known organizations of knowledge accreditation in Greece (ECDL, ICT, ACTA, GLOBALCERT, UNICERT).

Our organization often has a social aspect, by participating in public events and contributing by providing seminars to people with special needs. Since 2007 we have specialized on training disabled people with the use of computers and other tools, and we have organized training seminars for the disabled on the usage of the new technologies etc. Since 2010 we have entered the field of language studies, creating a Center for Foreign Languages specialized on adult education and leading to official accreditation exams. We have been providing classes for English, Italian & Russian, and we are planning to expand to more even more languages. We have developed the e-mathima.gr website, which includes an e-learning platform, allowing both synchronous and asynchronous learning. An important milestone for our company was our certification from the National Agency of Qualification Accreditation and Business Orientation (EOPPEP) as a Life Long Learning Center since 2014, ID 2000112. Our facilities sport over 500 square meters in the very center of Karditsa.

In the past 5 years, we have trained over 1000 unemployed individuals via the «Voucher for Entry to the Labor Market» programs, and over 3000 more trainees in our various seminars. These programs, aside from the theoretical Training included career consulting services for the unemployed as well as hands-on training as interns in private sector stakeholders. A substantial percentage of them have now found employment in the same or similar companies. The career consulting services, matchmaking with companies and intern positions and relevant after-matching services are performed by permanent experienced personnel of our LLLC. Nowadays aside from the two owners, E-SCHOOL is manned with five permanent managerial staff, 3 permanent external partners and over 50 teachers, as the circumstances dictate.

Our vision is to provide quality education and accreditation on the subjects we deal in and be a truly multipurpose EDUCATIONAL GROUP that will provide high quality and modern LIFE LONG LEARNING and KNOWLEDGE ACCREDITATION. Towards this goal, we have started partnerships throughout Greece with like-minded LLLCs to exchange information and good practices and training methods, with ultimate goal the qualitative growth of the participant Centers regarding their training and educational services. Our partnerships within Greece include and are not limited to private and public organizations in the wider region of Thessaly (Karditsa, Trikala, Volos, Larisa) and in the cities of Athens, Patras and Rhodes.

Since 2016, we have been involved in KA2 strategic partnerships in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, both as a coordinator and a partner, and we have

provided training courses as a host organization for KA1 mobility projects for educational organizations in subjects ranging from Augmented Reality and Game-Based Learning to Educational methods for people with disabilities. Our LLLC aims to continue providing high quality education and increase our partnerships in the field of Erasmus+ projects utilizing the opportunities the programme provides all citizens of Europe to improve their skills and well-being.

Performing Areas E-SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL GROUP provides educational and other services in 3 sectors: SECTOR 1 Vocational Education and Adult Training This sector is divided in tree (3) departments: 1. 2. National project & programmes • Certified VET provider and Adult Trainers by National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance - EOPPEP • Provider of training services in National and European programs against unemployment with the system of training vouchers • Provider of training services in Vocational Training programs for employees in small businesses (SMEs)(LAEK 1-30) • Certified ICT examination center by UNICERT & GLOBAL CERT • Certified Training & Exam center for the rational use of agricultural medicines by Greek Ministry of Rural Development and Food • Certified Training center for the Centre for Security Studies (ΚΕΜΕΑ) • Certified Training center for the education of primary and secondary education teachers in the public sector on the use of new technologies in teaching (second level)

What are the skills and expertise of key

staff/persons involved in this application?

1) Mr. Konstantinos Lekkas Diploma in Project Management

Mr. Lekkas has participated in various Erasmus+ Projects and has experience in performing the necessary obligations for E-SCHOOL as an applicant organization as well as a receiving organization. He is experienced in working in the youth sector, having seen through all Voucher related programs relevant to our area, in addition to management tasks also fulfilling the following roles: - Coupling Consultant (linking youth with enterprises for internship) - Work Advisor (consulting youth and employers throughout the internship’s duration) - Work Inspector (Performing checks on the interns and employers) - Executive of Accompanying Support Services (internship/career consulting)

2) Mr. Paris Papangelos Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (MEng)

MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management Mr. Papangelos serves as a Project Manager in the European Projects Department of E-SCHOOL. Among other duties he acts as Project Consultant in the school education and youth sector providing guidance to organizations regarding the effective implementation and management of the projects, they participate in.

3) Ms. Maria Malliora Diploma in Electrical & Computer Engineer (MEng)

Med in Adult Education She is a certified Adult Trainer and Teacher and serves as a Project Manager in the European Projects Department of E-SCHOOL. Ms. Malliora has extensive teaching experience as an adult trainer in topics such as ICT, Augmented reality in education and Robotics. She also has many years of experience in the school education and youth sector as a teacher/trainer and as a project manager of European projects, having coordinated numerous Erasmus+ Projects successfully.

4) Ms. Victoria Topouzi Diploma in Forest Engineering (MEng)

MSc in Environmental Studies Ms. Topouzi has extensive experience as a Project Manager of European and National projects having coordinated and implemented numerous projects with the administrative body of the region of Thessaly, Greece.

5) Mr. Vasileios Mousafiris Diploma in Materials Science Engineering (Meng)

He serves as our Technical Expert, as well as assisting as needed for certain reception tasks. He performs all IT related tasks, including and not limited to: - Website creation & development - E-Learning Platform management - Software & Hardware technical support

6) Mr. Antonios Karalis Diploma in Civil Engineering

He is the Training Director of E-SCHOOL. He is experienced in the fields of youth, as in addition to his everyday tasks he has assisted or wholly managed a number of Voucher projects. Some of the roles he fulfilled are: Work Advisor (consulting youth and employers throughout the internship’s duration), Project Support (Managing the proper paperwork), Seminar Support, Work Inspector (Performing checks on the interns and employers) and Training Program Director (Organizing training projects from scratch). He has likewise performed tasks relevant to the needs of Erasmus+ projects performed by E-SCHOOL as a host organization.
