I can’t say enough about the combination of a great guy with great Red Angus cattle like Jim King’s Chickadee Red Angus. The great pedigrees that breed true to an always uniformly high quality set of bulls that see a loyal repeat customer base poised to buy them every year. Not just the cattle, but Jim’s no nonsense attitude and “easy to work with” demeanor make these bulls that much more appeal-ing to buy. If you’ve never bought a “Chickadee” bull, don’t be shy.

I’ve known Rod Lorenz, Red Top Angus, for over thirty years and know I won’t offend him by saying his cattle aren’t “over-managed” but are designed to work for him. Rod has worked out full time all his adult life and is the entire workforce himself at “Red Top”. This schedule has relayed in turn a cowherd that breeds up annually, are good milking with fl awless udders, and walk on solid feet. They’ve had to! The “Red Top” bull pen also annually enjoys a satisfi ed repeat customer base.

Our Simmental side of “Mountainview” uses a consignment based philosophy that always sees the top end of multiple bull pens for an excellent quality offering consigned. Our bulls are hand fed screening pellets at a rate of 1% of body weight along with free choice long hay. They are semen checked, Ivomeced and up-to-date with all vaccinations, including 2 shots of foot rot vaccine.

If you are looking for extreme calving or performance bull to really put some grow in your calves; I gaurantee we have a bull to fi t your needs.
