“THE ROCKER” project was born in 2005 from an idea had by Edo Arlenghi, singer and Leader of the band. The name of the band draws on the famous 70’s movie Quadrophenia, where two well different factions, called Mods and Rockers, fought for their (not just) musical ideals.“THE ROCKER”, purposely in the singular, represents the musical soul of its Former, EDO ARLENGHI, heart and soul of the band.The band, formed by musicians accomplished in the Italian and international musical scene, lays before the audience with genuine pieces, respecting the plain and ill-tempered Rock’n’Roll tradition.“THE ROCKER” will soon release their brand new album, titledITALIAN BASTARDS.All of their determination, their love for music and the experience they have been able to get while working with famous names for years, both in the studio and on stage because of their artistic skills, can be found in this album.Edo’s unique and peculiar voice can be defined as the true trade-mark of the Band. In fact his voice appears to be able to convey a double polyphonic voice determined by a third natural one: Janis Joplin, Demetrio Stratos.

Grammy Award winner, for best single, at Japan Golden Disc Award on March 2000 in Tokyo. Voice for Riff Raff (Official AC/DC Tribute Band) for 9 years.

WALTER CAGLIARO : GUITAR

Young artist in the Italian musical scene. Ex-guitarist for Eurosmith (Aerosmith tribute band) and guitarist for Riff Raff.


FORTUNATO SACCA’ : BASS GUITAROne of the most wanted bassist in the Italian professional scene.He can include interventions to performances and collaborations with many artist, and that is, among many others: U. Tozzi, E. Ruggeri, G. Grignani and P. Pelù (for his latest album). He participated in producing the first solo album from the ex-drummer for Asian Dub Foundation, Rock iD.

FRANCESCO JOVINO : DRUMSCurrently one of the best rock drummers in the Italian scene, as well as a regular presence in U.D.O.’s band(voice and founder of the German band Accept) for a couple of years.Francesco, apart from the collaboration just mentioned, has lent his sticks and drums, to quote some of them, to: Bob Harris (Frank Zappa) and Jeff Scott Soto (Yngwie J. Malmsteen).
