Termálne kúpaliská Nitrianskeho samosprávneho kraja

Slovensko – malá, veľká krajina. Je to však krajina veľmi bohatá. Jej bohat-stvo nie je uložené v bankách, ale leží hlboko v podzemí. Nie je to však ropa, ani zlato a diamanty, a nie sú to ani staré poklady pirátov či zbojníkov. Je to voda. Presnejšie teplá voda. Svoje vlastnosti, ktoré z nej robia náš poklad získava v hĺbkach často presahujúcich jeden kilometer. V týchto hĺbkach prechádza cez vrstvy vápencov, dolomitov a iných sedimentov, ktoré sa tu ukladali v dávnych dobách, keď naše územie ešte zalieval oceán a na pev-ninách sa túlali dinosaury. Pri prechode cez tieto súvrstvia sa voda obo-hacuje o minerálne látky a teplom Zeme z pradávnych sopiek sa zohrieva často aj na viac ako 80  °C. Miestami vystupuje na povrch v podobe ter-málnych prameňov, ktoré poznali a využívali naši predkovia už v dávnych dobách, inde sa dostáva na povrch z hlbokých vrtov. Na týchto miestach vznikli termálne kúpaliská, a práve územie Nitrianskeho samosprávneho kraja je na takéto lokality mimoriadne bohaté. Ak k tomu pridáte veľmi dobré klimatické podmienky, teplé podnebie a najviac slnečných dní v roku, je tento región priam stvorený na príjemnú dovolenku na niektorom z ter-málnych kúpalísk. Thermal spas in the Nitra self-governing region

Slovakia – a big, little country. But a very rich country. Its riches cannot be found in banks, but are lying deep underground. It is not oil, however, or gold and diamonds, and not either the ancient treasures of pirates or highwaymen. It is water. To be more precise, hot water. It gains the proper-ties which make it a treasure at depths sometimes exceeding one kilometre. At this depth, it passes through layers of limestone, dolomites and other sediments which were deposited here in ancient times, when our land was still an ocean and dinosaurs wandered on the mainland. While passing through these formations, the water becomes enriched with minerals and the Earth’s heat from ancient volcanoes often heats it up to over 80°C. In places, it comes to the surface in the shape of thermal sources which were known and used by our ancestors many ages ago; elsewhere they reach the surface through deep boreholes. This is where thermal spas were founded, and the Nitra self-governing region is exceptionally rich in such places. If you add to this equation its very good climatic conditions, a warm climate and the most days of sunshine per year, then this region is just made for an enjoyable holiday in one of its thermal spas. Treat yourself to a rest and some relaxation in the thermal waters with healing properties, take advan-tage of the wide range of procedures in modern wellness centres, enjoy the many water attractions and discover the beauty of this region and take in the miraculous riches offered by our country.

1. DiakovceTermálna sodná hydrogénuhličitanová voda s teplotou 38 °C vyviera z hĺb-ky 780 - 800 m z pieskov, ktoré sa usadili v pleistocéne, teda pred tromi až piatimi miliónmi rokov. Po ochladení na príjemných 28 - 30 °C sa môžu návštevníci oddávať jej blahodarným účinkom v rekreačnom bazéne a deti sa môžu do sýtosti vyšantiť v detskom bazéne. Voda pomáha pri liečbe re-umatických ochorení, ale výborné podmienky relaxácie tu nájdu aj priaz-nivci aktívneho odpočinku. Areál kúpaliska a jeho okolie ponúka široké možnosti pre športové aktivity a turistické vychádzky.

2. KomárnoPre rekreačné a liečebné účely sa v termálnom kúpalisku využívajú dva zdroje termálnej vody s teplotou 42 °C a 30 °C, vyvierajúce z hĺbky viac ako 1200 m. Svojím chemickým zložením sú veľmi podobné prameňom Sina v Trenčianskych Tepliciach či Trajan v Piešťanoch. Komárňanská termálna voda priaznivo pôsobí pri liečbe reumatických a kĺbových ochorení, pri ne-urologických, gynekologických a kožných ochoreniach. V letnej sezóne sú návštevníkom k dispozícii dva detské bazény, športový bazén, sedací bazén a bazén pre neplavcov. Celoročne je návštevníkom k dispozícii moderný bazén s mobilnou, priesvitnou strešnou konštrukciou, dve sauny s ochla-dzovacím bazénom, masážna miestnosť a sedací bazén s termálnou vodou.

1. DiakovceThe thermal sodium hydrogen carbonate water with a temperature of 38°C bubbles up from a depth of 780 to 800 m from sand that settled in the Pleistocene, that is three to five million years ago. After being cooled to a pleasant 28 to 30°C, visitors can indulge in its beneficial effects in the rec-reational pool and children can have fun to their heart’s content in the children’s pool. The water helps in the treatment of rheumatic diseases, but even activity lovers can find excellent opportunities for relaxing here. The grounds of the spa pool and its surroundings offer a wide range of pos-sibilities for sporting activities and tourism.

2. KomárnoTwo sources of thermal water with temperatures of 42°C and 30°C coming from a depth of over 1200 metres are used in this thermal swimming-pool for leisure and treatment purposes. Their chemical composition is very similar to the Sina source in Trenčianske Teplice or the Trajan source in Piešťany. Komárno’s thermal water has a beneficial effect in the treatment of rheumatic or joint diseases, as well as for neurological, gynaecological and skin diseases. In the summer season, two children’s pools, a sports pool, a sitting pool and a pool for non-swimmers are available for visitors. All year round, visitors can enjoy a modern pool with a mobile, transparent roof structure, two saunas with a cooling pool, a massage room and a sit-ting pool with thermal water.

3. Levice – Margita a IlonaTermálne kúpalisko Margita - Ilona sa nachádza na rozhraní Podunaj-skej nížiny a Štiavnických vrchov, iba niekoľko kilometrov od mesta Levice. Z triasových vápencov je z hĺbky 70 m čerpaná vápenato-horečnatá hydro-génuhličitanovo-síranová voda s teplotou 25 °C a s obsahom minerálnych solí 1020 mg/l. Štyri bazény s termálnou vodou, tobogan s dĺžkou 71 m a výborne vybavený areál kúpaliska zaručujú spokojnosť návštevníkov.

4. Termálne kúpalisko Nové Zámky – Štrand Emila TatárikaTermálna voda, ktorá vyviera v areáli kúpaliska z vrtu z hĺbky viac ako 1400 m, má teplotu 52 °C. Má vysokú mineralizáciu a jej chemické zlo-ženie ju radí medzi sodné hydrogénuhličitanovo-chloridové vody so zvý-šeným obsahom jódu a fluóru. Veľmi priaznivo pôsobí pri liečbe ochorení pohybového ústrojenstva. Moderný areál kúpaliska so šiestimi bazénmi a 100 m toboganom ponúka kvalitné služby aj pre tých najnáročnejších náv-števníkov.

5. Wellness PatinceLiečivé účinky teplých prameňov v okolí Patiniec boli známe a využívané už od rímskych čias. Vápenato-horečnatá hydrogén-uhličitanová voda má priaznivé účinky pri liečbe chorôb pohybového ústrojenstva a reumatizmu. Bazény dnešného moderného wellness areálu sú zásobované termálnou vodou s teplotou 26 - 27 °C z troch vrtov hlbokých 170 m. Okrem kúpania

3. Levice – Margita and IlonaThe Margita-Illona spa is located on the edge of the Danube plain and the Štiavnica hills, just a few kilometres from the town of Levice. Calcic magnesium-rich hydrogen carbonate sulphurous water is pumped from the trias limestone at a depth of 70 metres at a temperature of 25°C, containing 1020 mg/l of mineral salts. Four pools with thermal water, a 71m long slide and the swimming-pool’s ground with excellent facilities are guaranteed to meet visitors’ expectations.

4. Thermal swimming-pool Nové Zámky –Emil Tatárik ŠtrandThe thermal water which bubbles up in the swimming-pool from a borehole at a depth of over 1400 metres has a temperature of 52°C. It is high in minerals and its chemical composition classifies it among sodium hydrogen carbonate-chloride waters with an increased iodine and fluoride content. It has a very beneficial effect in treating diseases of the motor apparatus. The swimming pool’s modern grounds with six pools and a 100 m toboggan offer high quality services for even the most demanding visitors.

5. Wellness PatinceThe healing effects of the hot springs around Patince have been known and taken advantage of since Roman times. The calcic magnesium hydrogen carbonate water has beneficial effects in the treatment of motor apparatus diseases and rheumatism. The pools in today’s modern wellness centre are

Návštevníkom je tu k dispozícii jedinečný bazénový svet s krytým zážitkovým bazénom s vodnými masážnymi delami a posteľami, vodným hríbom, jaskyňou, divo-kou riekou, saunovým svetom a širokou ponukou wellness procedúr. Vysoká úroveň poskytovaných služieb sem každoročne priláka nielen domácich, ale aj zahraničných rekreantov.

6. Termálne kúpalisko PodhájskaTermálne kúpalisko Podhájska má jedinečnú vodu, ktorá sa svojím chemic-kým zložením blíži zloženiu vody z Mŕtveho mora. Zdrojom geotermálnej silne mineralizovanej vody je vrt hlboký 1900 m. Voda má pri ústí tep-lotu 80  °C a vysokú mineralizáciu - až 19,6 g/l rozpustených solí. Slaná termálna voda je veľmi účinná pri liečbe reumatizmu, bolestí chrbtice, ochoreniach pohybového ústrojenstva, cievnych ochoreniach, ekzémoch a ochoreniach dýchacích ciest. Pomáha aj pri doliečovaní zlomenín a sti-muluje činnosť štítnej žľazy. Táto výnimočná voda je využívaná v deviatich bazénoch kúpaliska. Súčasťou termálneho kúpaliska je aj relaxačno-re-kondičný komplex a Wellness centrum Aquamarin. Vo wellness centre sú návštevníkom k dispozícii vnútorné i vonkajšie bazény, turecký kúpeľ Ham-mam, oddychové priestory, botanická záhrada a kaviareň.

Top quality ac-commodation in the grounds of the thermal spa is provided by the four-star Wellness Hotel Patince. Visitors can enjoy its unique swimming-pool world with an indoor pool with water massage cannons and a wide range of well-ness procedures. The high level of services provided attracts not only local, but also foreign tourists every year.

6. Podhájska thermal swimming-poolPodhájska thermal swimming-pool has unique water whose chemical com-position is close to that of the water in the Dead Sea. Its source of geo-thermal strongly mineralised water is a 1900 m deep borehole. As it comes out, it has a temperature of 80°C and a high mineralisation: up to 19.6 g/l of dissolved salts. The salty thermal water is very effective in treating rheumatisms, back pain, motor apparatus diseases, vascular diseases, ec-zema and diseases of the respiratory tract. It also helps in the convalescence of  ractures and stimulates thyroid activity. This exceptional water is used in the complex’s nine pools. A relaxation and fitness complex and the Aq-uamarin Wellness centre are also part of the spa complex. In the wellness centre, visitors can enjoy the outdoor and indoor pools, Hammam Turkish baths, relaxation areas, botanic gardens and a café.

7. Poľný KesovBazény termálneho kúpaliska a hotela sú zásobované termálnou vodou z panónskych pieskov, ktoré sa usadili pred šiestimi až desiatimi milión-mi rokov. Sodná hydrogénuhličitanová voda vyvierajúca z hĺbky takmer 1200 m má teplotu 50  °C. Svojím zložením a teplotou priaznivo vplýva na liečbu chorôb pohybového ústrojenstva a reumatizmu. Na svoje si však prídu všetci návštevníci, ktorí si chcú oddýchnuť a relaxovať v príjemnom prostredí.

8. Santovka Liečivé účinky teplých prameňov v okolí obce Santovka sú známe už nie-koľko storočí, ale ako kúpele boli využívané až od polovice 19. storočia. Termálna voda kúpaliska vyviera z hĺbky cca 70 m z pieskov, pieskovcov a vápencov bádenského veku (čo je 13 až 16 miliónov rokov) a možno ju charakterizovať ako silne mineralizovanú, sodno-vápenatú hydrouhličita-novo-chloridovú, so zvýšeným obsahom fluóru. Voda je preplynená oxidom uhličitým a sírovodíkom. Teplota vody je 26,7 °C. Priaznivo pôsobí pri srd-covo-cievnych ochoreniach, alergiách, ochoreniach pohybového aparátu a reumatických ochoreniach. Jej liečivé účinky si môžu návštevníci kúpaliska užívať v troch otvorených a jednom krytom celoročne využívanom bazéne. Príjemným spestrením sú aj sedacie travertínové bazéniky v štýle rímskych kúpeľov, masážne travertínové vodopády a masážne trysky, ktoré prúdom

7. Poľný KesovThe pools in the thermal swimming-pool and in the hotel are filled with thermal water from Pannonian sands which settled six to ten million years ago. The sodium hydrogen carbonate water rising from a depth of almost 1 200 metres has a temperature of 50°C. Its composition and temperature have a beneficial effect in treating diseases of the motor apparatus and rheumatism. However, all visitors who want to rest and relax in a pleasant environment will enjoy themselves here.

8. SantovkaThe healing effects of the hot springs around the village of Santovka have been known for several centuries, but were only used as baths from around the middle of the nineteenth century. The thermal waters of the pool spring up from a depth of around 70 m from sand, sandstone and limestone from the Baden period (around 13 to 16 million years) and can be characterised as strongly mineralised, sodium-calcic hydrocarbonate-chloride with in-creased fluoride content. Carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide gases are added to the water. The temperature of the water is 26.7 °C. It has a bene-ficial effect on cardiovascular diseases, allergies, motor apparatus diseases and rheumatic diseases. Its healing effects can be used by visitors in three outdoor and one indoor pool open year round. The sitting travertine baths in the style of Roman baths are an extra attraction, together with traver-

9. Vadaš Thermál ŠtúrovoHistória termálneho kúpaliska Vadaš sa začala písať v polovici sedemde-siatych rokov minulého storočia, keď bol geologickými vrtmi v dolomitic-kých vápencoch v hĺbke cca 130 m navŕtaný zdroj termálnej vody s  tep-lotou 40  °C. Odvtedy sa kúpalisko rozrástlo a dnes patrí k najkrajším a najmodernejším termálnym kúpaliskám u nás. Pýchou kúpaliska je bazén s umelým vlnobitím a s vodnou plochou 3800 m2, jediný svojho druhu na Slovensku. Pre milovníkov adrenalínu je k dispozícii 5 toboganov s celkovou dĺžkou viac ako 300 m. Domáci, ale aj zahraniční návštevníci isto ocenia aj ostatné vodné atrakcie, športové ihriská a ďalšie možnosti aktívneho odpočinku, ako napríklad vodné bicykle, jazdu na koňoch alebo štvorkol-kách. Rybári určite uvítajú možnosť rybolovu na jazierku priamo v areáli kúpaliska. V celoročne otvorenom relaxačnom komplexe sú návštevníkom okrem bazénu s termálnou vodou k dispozícii aj masáže a sauna. Veľkole-pým zážitkom je aj návšteva monumentálnej baziliky v neďalekom Ostri-home (MR).

9. Vadaš Thermál ŠtúrovoThe history of the Vadaš swimming-pool goes back to the middle of the 1970s when geological boreholes in the dolomite limestone at a depth of approximately 130 m drill into a source of thermal water with a tem-perature of 40°C. Since then the swimming-pool has grown and today is one of the prettiest and most modern thermal swimming-pools in Slovakia. The swimming complex’s pride and joy is the pool with artificial waves and a water surface of 3 800 m2, a one of its kind in Slovakia. For adrenalin lovers, there are five toboggans with a total length of over 300 metres. Lo-cal and foreign visitors will certainly appreciate the other water attrac-tions, sports grounds and other opportunities for active relaxation, such as pedaloes, horse-riding or quad bikes. Fishermen will appreciate the chance to fish on the lake within the swimming-pool grounds. In the relaxation complex, open year-round, visitors can enjoy massages and a sauna, as well as the pool with thermal water. A visit to the monumental basilica in nearby Esztergom (Hungary) is also a grandiose experience.
