Outcomes

• Operative time ≈ 50 to 90 min

• Early complications (1 – 2%)

– Bleeding, leak, wound infection

• Late complications (2 – 8%)

– Bile reflux, marginal ulcer, iron deficiency

• Low mortality rate (< 1%)
