The Irail continues along the old Steni-Stropones path, which is lined wilh a dry slone wall, and offers views of Ihe Aeslhetic Forest of Steni, which consisls mainly of chestnut and trees, with quite a few (at lower allitudes) and plane Irees by the ravines. The clearly marked Irail then lakes you Ihrough the kastanodasos (chestnut foresl), cuts across two foresl roads and reaches, around 1.5 hours later, the central asphalt road of Steni-Stropones. Crossing it, you continue along Ihe path and come 10 Rachi Syka, Mesorachi, where you meet a dirt road. Following Ihe dirt road the righl will lead the centrai road of Steni-Stropones. path S3 and Ksirovouni; turn right for Ihe Refuge, which is only 20 minutes away (FILOKLI5 DRAKOS trail).
