>Il Lakhta Center è il nuovo complesso multifunzionale in costruzione a San Pietroburgo, a dieci chilometri dal centro

della città ed affacciato sul mar Baltico.Le principali aree del progetto sono adibite ad attività pubbliche e di intrattenimento: l’obiettivo è quello di concentrare interessi economici e pubblici, entrando nella vita sociale della città.Il progetto prevede anche il grattacielo più alto d’Europa (462 m), che ospiterà il quartier generale del gruppo Gazprom.Exclusiva è key contractor per l’interior design degli spazi pubblici del Lakhta Center. Il prestigioso incarico prevede la progettazione e realizzazione della “Sky lobbies” nella torre Gazprom. Exclusiva realizzerà inoltre: gli ingressi su tutti i livelli, la galleria dell’edificio multifunzionale, i ponti di collegamento tra blocco nord e sud dell’edificio multifunzionale, l’Osservatorio sulla torre, una hall multifunzionale per 494 posti, un ufficio, una sala meeting, le aree wide della Torre oltre al parcheggio, le scale e i bagni.

km away from the city center, it overlooks the Baltic Sea. The main areas of the project are conceived for public functions and entertainment activities: the objective is to cluster economic and public interests, entering the city’s social life. The project includes Europe’s highest skyscraper (462 m), that will comprise the headquarters of Gazprom Group.Exclusiva is key contractor for the interior design of public spaces in the Lakhta Center.The prestigious commission includes the design of the “Sky lobbies” in the Gazprom tower, the skyscraper that, once completed, will be in the running for the highest building in Europe. Exclusiva will also create the interiors for: the gallery for the multipurpose building, the tower Observatory, a 494-seat multipurpose conference hall, the entrances on all levels, the bridges connecting the north blocks to the south ones, the offices, the meeting rooms and the tower’s wide buffer zones, as well as the car parks, stairs and toilets.

Negli spazi interni il tema principale è l’energia, entità invisibile che è il motore di tutto. Genera movimento, spinge un fluido a cambiare stato, evolve e si trasforma. L’acqua si trova nelle forme degli ambienti pubblici, dove assume lo stato liquido nelle forme sinuose o si ghiacciai in tratti geometrici e frastagliati. Nel progetto il tema dell’energia viene declinato di volta in volta con la luce, l’interazione, le superfici vive. Le linee esprimono movimento, velocità e dinamismo: una tensione verso il futuro che si coniuga necessariamente con la sperimentazione e l’innovazione tecnologica. Dall’accostamento di due edifici scaturisce un “canyon naturale” che sviluppa lo spazio dell’atrio in alzato, come una galleria dalla dimensione urbana dominata dalla sfera del planetario.

The main theme of the public areas is energy, this invisible entity is the engine of everything.It generates movement, forces a liquid to change its state, evolves and transforms. Water is another leitmotif appearing in the public environments as liquid state, sinuous shapes or freezing in jagged, geometric pieces.From time to time, the theme of energy is portrayed through light, interaction and living surfaces in the design. The lines express movement, speed and dynamism: a force towards the future that has to be combined with experimentation and technological innovation. The juxtaposition of the buildings produces a “natural canyon” that expands the space of the atrium upwards, like a town-sized gallery dominated by the sphere of the planetarium.
