Module Performance with cosmic rays

The charge obtained from one PMT will vary for 300% while the hit position moves

The average has less dependence on hit position

The effective velocity of light transfer is about 15 cm/ns, leading to a position resolution of about 2 cm (σ)

Summary

• The experiments at CSR-ETF will focus on the RIB physics and the properties of dense nuclear matter

• A multi-purpose setup is under-construction at the CSR-ETF for RIB physics, and the detectors are nearly ready for commissioning.

• Need more hard works to make the new CEE spectrometer approved, and we can use the setup for RIB physics to start the work on EOS at the same time.
