Конкурс для дівчаток 6-7 класів ”Miss English”

Цілі: активізувати вивчений матеріал з тем «Велика Британія», «США»,

«Зовнішність, характер», «Спорт», «Книги»;

стимулювати учнів до глибшого вивчення лексики та граматики

англійської мови;

розвивати пам’ять увагу та та мовленнєві здібності;

виховувати почуття самостійності та вміння долати труднощі;

виховувати інтерес до вивчення іноземної мови.

ХІД ЗАХОДУ

Dear pupils and guests! I'm very glad to see you. Welcome to our contest for girls of

the 6th and 7th forms. Our contest is called "Miss English". Our girls will show us how

they like learning English and how they know it well. I hope you'll enjoy it.

Now let me introduce the jury of our contest...

Certainly everyone likes flowers. Today our gentlemen will present flowers for our

beauty girls but these flowers will be unusual …

Безперечно, усі люблять квіти. Ось і наші джентльмени сьогодні даруватимуть

квіти, але ці квіти незвичайні…

Перша квітка "Візитка". The first flower is "My visit card"

The girls introduce themselves, their own hobbies, favourite holidays, subjects etc.

Друга квітка "Лексична". The second flower is “Lexical” 1. Make the words.

Read the words from every line. Take the first letter from the first word, the second –

from the 2nd, the third – from the third, the fourth – from the fourth. Read the word.

Наприклад:

Garden, bird, fire, ball – (girl)

2. Name the odd word. Назви зайве слово. Для кожного учасника звучить чотири

слова, серед яких він має назвати зайве.

Наприклад:

Spring, winter, January, summer.

3. Explain to what sort the word belongs. До якого розряду належить назване слово?

Учасники пояснюють значення слова.

Наприклад:

the Thames – a river
