The Counselor’s Corner
Dear Parents,
Stress is something that can affect us all. It is a result of the demands placed on us every day and our ability to meet them. Parents may think of stress as something that only impacts adults. However, stress is something that impacts kids, too.
Kids can feel overwhelmed with academic or social pressures (especially the pressure to fit in). Kids are also very in tune with things around them. They can be affected by stress that their parents may feel, events that occur within their families, and even events throughout the world.
Here are some ideas for how to help your child cope with stress:
• Help your child get a good night’s sleep.
• Establish routines for your child.
• Make time to play with your child each day. Just being near you can help your child to feel safe and relaxed, and will reduce stress.

د اإلجهاد هو شيء يمكن أن يؤثر علينا جميعا. وهو نتيجة للمطالب اليومية المترتبة علينا ومدى قدرتنا على القيام بها وتحقيقها قد يعتق األهل أن التوترهوشيء يؤثر فقط على الكبار، بينما األطفال كذلك معرضون لتأثيره.
(. األطفال يشعر األطفال باإلرهاق من جراء الضغوط األكاديمية أو االجتماعية ) خاصة الضغط الذي يجبره على التالؤم مع اآلخرينالتي تدورحولهم، كما أنهم يتأثرون بالضغوط التي تواجه والديهم ، واألحداث التي تحدث داخل أسرهم، وحتى األحداث يتأثرون باألشياء
التي تكون على نطاق أوسع من أسرهم كالعالم بأسره.
وهنالك بعض األفكار حول كيفية مساعدة طفلك على التعامل مع اإلجهاد من بينها :
.ساعد طفلك على أن يحصل على قسط وافر من النوم الهانئ كل ليلة - ضع جدوال زمنيا لطفلك لتنظيم وقته. - .خصص وقتا للعب مع طفلك كل يوم. فوجوده بالقرب منك يساعده على الشعور باألمان والراحة مما يقلل من اإلجهاد -

Dear Parents,
It was with your outpouring support and generosity that we were able to achieve our projected goal and more, raising 55,778 QAR. We thank you very much for your help, dedication and contribution that were highly appreci-ated. We are so proud to have such an involved parent community like all of you!
Teachers were also a great support to our student body and worked hard to raise awareness about our cause in different ways, including mini-lessons, hands-on activities and relevant incentives.
