Reducing commissioning and maintenance effortUsing the FA transparent function GOT´s help to reduce time to access your ma-chine equipment. Just connect to the HMI to route through to any kind of con-nected FA products and upload/down-load programs, change parameters or simply monitor the status.

Reducing production downtimeAdvanced troubleshooting features like the multimedia function can reduce production downtime significantly. This function allows that a camera connect-ed to the GOT records the worksite or a part of a process to replay a video file in case of an error for faster fault finding. Additionally the GOT can also display a pdf manual to an operator eliminating the need to search for it.

GOT2000 / GOT Add-on Kits

In case of a PLC CPU breakdown you will find it very convenient to be able to use the backup/restore function. This function can be used to restore the prior backed up PLC program to the ex-changed PLC CPU with just some clicks on the GOT.

Database connectivityIn order to reduce TCO the GOT´s offer a direct database connection possibility called MES function. This function al-lows to interface with an SQL, Oracle or Access database using SQL statements and removes the need for an external gateway PC.

Remote connectivityGOT´s offer two types of remote access functionalities – the VNC server func-tion and GOT Mobile, a webserver based type. The VNC server function allows to monitor the HMI screen remotely and is a one-to-one connection, whereas the user of the GOT Mobile function can design own screens, different from the ones displayed on the HMI. Additionally up to five operators can use this func-tion simultaneously.

Enhancing transparency, security and quality of productionWith the operator authentication func-tion the GOT´s offer a convenient way to set up a user management system with access levels and passwords. To-gether with the operation log function that records all operations performed by operators on the GOT it increases the transparency of production significantly.

Efficient programmingThe GOT programming software GT Works3 helps you to save engineer-ing time with pre-defined screen tem-plates and libraries to choose from that are already included. It is offered at an attractive price with free updates and no additional yearly costs.

GOT Add-on KitsA very convenient way to enter the world of Mitsubishi Electric Graphic Operation Terminals is to purchase a GOT Add-on Kit. These Kits are available for all GOT2000 and GOT Simple models and include the GOT, a programming cable, an Ethernet cable to connect to a second device and Mitsubishi Electric´s integrated engineering environment iQ Works2.

The iQ Works2 software suite consists of programming and parameteriza-tion software for all Mitsubishi Electric FA products (PLC, HMI, Servo/Motion, Robot, Inverter) and the superior pro-ject management tool MELSOFT Navi-gator. Main advantages of iQ Works2 are the system configuration diagram of MELSOFT Navigator that allows the graphic assembly of systems, the centralized management of disparate projects and batch configuration of the entire control system. With using system labels in iQ Works2 it´s possible to share device data between GOTs, PLCs and motion controllers. And last but not least iQ Works2 offers extensive debugging, diagnostic, simulation and monitoring functionalities that decrease commissioning effort and production downtime.
