我想乘搭各式各樣的交通工具到處去！

「政皓在嬰孩時期就對玩具車情有獨鍾，總是眼仔碌碌地看著玩具車的輪子一直轉動！」政皓爸爸說。他最喜歡乘搭不同的交通工具到處去。不要看他年紀小小，他已經是一個交通工具小專家了，無論是鐵路站名稱、跑車型號還是路線都瞭如指掌！

當被問到有何願望時，政皓滿帶著稚氣又堅定地說：「我想搭很多款還沒坐過的車車啊！」「可以乘搭新通車的南港島線嗎？山頂纜車呢？港島區的電車呢？還有越野車、開蓬跑車⋯⋯！」提到夢想中的交通工具時，政皓的腦海中盡是願望成真的興奮畫面！

‘I WANT TO TRAVEL AROUND HONG KONG IN DIFFERENT FORMS OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT!’"Ching-ho has been a big fan of toy cars since he was a baby and has always been unable to take his eyes off the wheels of his favorite cars," recalls Ching-ho's dad. It doesn’t stop there; Ching-ho’s absolute favorite activity is to travel to different places by various means of transportation. It was therefore of no surprise to us, when he was asked of his wish and he beamed as he told us, 'I want to travel around Hong Kong in different forms of public transport!’ Can I go on the new South Island MTR line? The Peak Tram? An SUV or maybe a sports car?’ When it comes to the discussion of the transport of his dreams, Ching-ho is always excited.

願望日終於到了！這天剛滿5歲的政皓乘坐越野車帥氣的由家中出發，至港鐵南港島線的起點海怡半島站登上獨有的無人駕駛列車，在車頭觀景窗欣賞沿途的南區風景，然後登上香港其中一個最古老以及斜度最高的交通工具—山頂纜車。第一次乘搭山頂纜車的政皓表現得非常雀躍！

驚喜一浪接一浪，當政皓踏出山頂纜車站的一刻，便發現法拉利車隊已經蓄勢待發地等待著他了！這位小主角逐一登上各款開蓬跑車並擺出帥氣的姿勢拍照。最後在法拉利車隊的護航下，我們的小帥哥終於到達他夢寐以求的生日會起點—獨一無二的紅色「懷舊電車」！在叮叮聲的伴隨下，願望團隊為政皓舉行了盛大的生日派對！

願望團隊陪伴政皓走過整整一年半的願望歷程。特別感謝我們的願望伙伴包括港鐵公司、山頂纜車有限公司、香港電車、法拉利車主會和� An's� production� 的支持，讓政皓的願望成真。一次奇妙的願望不只是一個快樂的回憶，更包含很多的祝福與關懷！

Wish day finally arrived as Ching-ho also turned 5 on the same day! He looked his best as he arrived at the South Horizons Station of the South Island Line and hopped into the MTR. Taking the best spot at the front of the train, he was able to see the nice views of Hong Kong’s Southern District.  He then boarded one of the oldest and most inclined transportation in Hong Kong, The Peak Tram. As this was Ching-ho’s first ride on the Peak Team, he was overjoyed.

His adventure continued once he stepped off the tram and noticed a team of Ferrari sports cars waiting in the distance. They were there to pick him up and give him a once-in-a-lifetime experience of riding in a roadster. He was so excited; he climbed into each Ferrari sports car for photos before being driven in one to his dream birthday party venue - a classy red vintage tram! The team had put together a fabulous birthday party for Ching-ho as the perfect wrap up for the day.

We have had an amazing 1.5 years being part of Ching-ho’s wish journey and would like to extend our very special thanks to our Make-A-Wish partners; MTR Corporation Limited,  Peak Tramways Company Limited, Hong Kong Tramways, Ferrari Owners' Club of Hong Kong and An's production. Their support has helped us bring Ching-ho’s wish into reality and bring a lot of happiness to him and his family. An amazing wish journey not only brings happy memories, it is full of care and blessings from those that have been a part of it along the way!

AEVA'S MEMORABLE PARTY

Aeva 難忘的派對 Just like her favorite cartoon character Dora the Explorer, 4-year-old Aeva is a lovely, playful and curious girl. Her illness has caused her severe pain and difficulties in her mobility, but that does not stop her from being curious about the world. She enjoys watching Dora the Explorer at home and seeing the fun adventures that Dora has with her friends. Aeva's wish is to meet Dora the Explorer in a themed party.  With the help of our generous volunteer and wish granter, Monisha, an “Aeva the Explorer” party was especially arranged for Aeva. As well as having Aeva’s favorite food prepared, we had the party room decorated with Dora the Explorer balloons, table centerpieces and posters. She was incredibly overwhelmed when she arrived at the party and saw all the Dora the Explorer decorations and more than 30 happy faces from her family and friends to celebrate this special occasion with her. Dora was also there to greet Aeva and they spent a wonderful time together cutting the themed cake, watching a magic show, singing and taking lots of photos. “Thank you and your team again for the awesome party yesterday. We all loved it, especially Aeva. God bless you all,” said Aeva’s father. We hope this experience will serve as a remarkable memory for Aeva and her family, and provide positive energy throughout her treatment journey.

Aeva� 心底裡有一個期待已久的願望，就是與最愛的� Dora� 一起唱歌和跳舞。感謝熱心義工�Monisha�幫忙，願望團隊得以準備一個充滿驚喜與歡樂的「Aeva� the� Explorer」派對;� 大大小小的� Dora� the� Explorer� 氣球、色彩繽紛的擺設及海報，加上�Aeva�最愛的食物，最棒的派對不就是這樣嗎?�當�Aeva�踏入派對現場，看到各式各樣的�Dora�the�Explorer�裝飾及專程為她送上祝福的�30�位熟悉的面孔，頓時笑得合不攏嘴。驚喜一浪接一浪！Dora也專程來參與� Aeva� 的派對啊！Dora� 還握著� Aeva�的小手一起切蛋糕、看魔術表演、唱歌及拍照呢！

2017分享願望的喜樂

願望成真基金與置地公司再度合辦年度聖誕慈善義賣活動「分享願望的喜樂」並舉行了開幕禮。典禮先由願望童梓浠以鋼琴演奏「Jingle�Bells」拉開序幕，再由願望成真基金主席劉仲恒醫生致致謝辭，感謝置地公司連續第十九年的贊助，同時宣佈基金將於成立�20�周年（即�2018�年）舉辦一系列慶祝及籌款活動，鼓勵各界人士與基金攜手，為更多患重病兒童帶來蛻變生命的願望歷程。

今年，願望成真基金有幸邀得著名藝人劉德華先生作為主禮嘉賓之一，分享自己的童年願望。願望童焜皓和嘉鎂分享他們想置身卡通世界和到法國藍帶學院學習甜品製作的願望故事，並致送他們的繪畫作品及手製曲奇予劉德華先生。劉德華先生更即場試食嘉鎂的曲奇，大讚好味。最後，一眾主禮嘉賓把寓意願望與祝福的星星掛在聖誕樹上，預祝活動圓滿成功，並宣佈�20�周年慶祝活動的展開，將典禮帶到高潮。

除了贊助聖誕主題精品義賣櫃檯外，置地廣場也透過聖誕許願裝置、中庭拍照活動及義賣心意卡、環保袋和毛公仔等為願望成真基金籌款，所得款項將全數為三位願望童實現願望。

SHARE THE JOY OF A WISH 2017

For the 19th year, Make-A-Wish Hong Kong and Hongkong Land joined forces to co-organize the annual “Share the Joy of a Wish” Christmas charity campaign. Wish Child Zi-xi kick-started the launch ceremony by performing “Jingle Bells” on the piano. Dr Kevin CH Lau, Chairperson of Make-A-Wish Hong Kong acknowledged Hongkong Land for their continual support in his speech; announced a series of celebrating and fundraising events to be held in our 20th Anniversary year and encouraged the Wish Community to join hands with us to bring life-changing experiences to Wish Children with critical illnesses.

We were honored to have Mr Andy Lau, a renowned artiste, as one of the officiating guests to share his childhood wishes. Wish Children Kun-hao and Ka-mei also shared their wishes to be part of a cartoon world and to learn pastry making at Le Cordon Bleu. They then presented their paintings and handmade cookies to Andy. To end the evening, all officiating guests hung their wishing stars on the Christmas tree and wished the month-long campaign a great success.

Apart from sponsoring the Christmas charity sales counter, Hongkong Land sponsored 3 wishes, by donating all proceeds from the Wishing Machine, photo booth and charity sales of Landmark’s Christmas cards, tote bags and plush toys to Make-A-Wish Hong Kong.

願望之樹

香港半島酒店已連續十四年與願望成真基金合辦「願望之樹」年度聖誕籌款活動。今年酒店設置了巨型薑餅屋，慈善義賣半島雪人門僮玩偶、聖誕玻璃吊飾連薑餅曲奇禮盒。另外，酒店更於大堂茶座跟酒吧舉行「願望之樹下午茶」和「願望之樹雞尾酒」，把英式下午茶及特製雞尾酒的收益撥捐願望成真基金。

TREES OF HOPEIt has been 14 consecutive years that The Peninsula Hong Kong and Make-A-Wish Hong Kong have co-organized the annual “Trees of Hope” Christmas fundraising campaign. This year, SnowPage plush toys and Christmas glass ornaments were sold as part of the charity sales, at the life-sized gingerbread house in the Peninsula Hotel. Both of these products came with tasty gingerbread cookies.

Further donations were generated through the “Teas of Hope” afternoon tea campaign and specially made cocktails as part of the “Cocktails of Hope” campaign at the lobby restaurant and hotel bar.

聖誕願望派對2017

今年是香港半島酒店連續第十五年贊助願望成真基金舉辦聖誕派對，逾百個願望家庭及義工於酒店一起預祝聖誕節。當天的節目豐富精彩，願望童先用多款朱古力和糖果裝飾出精緻的薑餅屋，爭奪薑餅屋比賽獎品；願望童轉眼又化身為魔術表演助手，協助魔術師帶出接連不斷的驚喜。大家一邊享用酒店美食之際，一邊欣賞《和鈴》及《天鈴》為大家送上手鈴表演，使現場充滿著濃厚的節日氣氛。聖誕節當然少不了幸運大抽獎及遊戲環節，而聖誕老人亦於現場大派禮物，令每人臉上都洋溢著幸福的笑容呢！

CHRISTMAS PARTY 2017For the 15th year in a row, The Peninsula Hong Kong has sponsored the Christmas Party organized by Make-A-Wish Hong Kong, which celebrates Christmas with more than 100 Wish Families and volunteers. A list of surprises were prepared for the guests, which begun with decorating gingerbread houses with sweets and chocolates as part of a competition. A magician then appeared for his magic show and invited Wish Children to be his performance assistants for a few eye-catching tricks. As everyone then enjoyed their festive meal, lovely Christmas songs filled the air from handbell performances by ‘Ringing Around The World’ and ‘The WEAVER’. To end, the long-awaited lucky draw and table games were presented to the guests, as Santa Claus arrived and distributed presents to each Wish Child. The party ended with everyone having a blast!

星願．同行 20 年

願望成真基金於過去�20�年創造了�1,800�多個改變生命的願望，希望透過「願望成真」的體驗令重病兒童的人生充滿盼望、毅力及歡樂。因為我們相信在最困難的時刻，一次願望成真的歷程足以為願望童和家人帶來生命的蛻變。在對抗嚴重疾病的路途上，願望創造了希望，讓每位參與者對生命有新的體驗。

願望不是奢侈的意念，而是開展身心靈療程的重要一步。醫療團隊同意其效果與治療成效相輔相成，讓願望童以積極心態面對療程帶來的挑戰，更為其家人帶來安慰與盼望，使之以樂觀的心取替徬徨和壓力，同時強化家庭關係。

在基金慶祝服務� 20� 年之際，我們希望加強與「願望社群」的合作，令更多願望歷程更精彩！以下將會介紹願望成真今年的慶祝活動。

Make-A-Wish Hong Kong has granted over 1,800 life-changing wishes in

the past 20 years and enriched human experience with hope, strength and

joy. We believe that the Foundation is in a unique position to transform a

child and his/her family’s lives during their most difficult trials – as a wish

creates an opportunity for hope and the ability to experience life beyond

illness.

A wish is not a luxury. It is a turning point for a child’s physical,

psychological and emotional well-being. It serves as a supplement to

medical treatment, which has been acknowledged by health care

professionals. A wish improves Wish Children’s mental and emotional

health, increases their willingness to comply with treatment protocols, and

more importantly, soothes the souls of Wish Families while strengthening

family bonds.

As we celebrate our 20th Anniversary in 2018, we wish to continue forging

strong relationships with the “Wish Community” and make more Wish

Journeys shine! In celebration of our anniversary, we’d like to share with

you some of the upcoming events in collaboration with our partners.

Clé de Peau Beauté#RadianceIs CampaignTo celebrate this important milestone, Clé de Peau Beauté has extended its continuous collaboration with Make-A-Wish Hong Kong by paying a special tribute to our supporters and Wish Children via the “Radiance Is…” digital campaign. We will invite 20 illuminating stars to encourage everyone to explore their own definition of “radiance” and unlock its potential to spread to others, especially the next generation. 全球迪士尼「#ShareYourEars」

迪士尼與願望成真基金邀請粉絲們一起參與�"#ShareYourEars"�活動，運用創意造出米奇耳朵，於社交平台分享得「耳」相並加上� Hashtag�"#ShareYourEars"�。迪士尼樂園就每張照片捐出五元美金予國際願望成真基金及各地區會員。最後活動總共籌得二百萬美金！

Disney and Make-A-Wish fans were invited to partake in the #ShareYourEars campaign this year, by submitting creative interpretations of ears on social media platforms with hashtag "#ShareYourEars". Disney Parks donated US$5 to Make-A-Wish Foundation International and the affiliates for each photo shared. The campaign raised a staggering total of US$2 million!

獨一無二的立體燙金聖誕卡 為願望童送上聖誕祝福

「又到聖誕！又到聖誕！」在這普天同慶的節日，我們舉辦了聖誕心意工作坊，與一班義工朋友製作獨一無二的立體燙金聖誕卡，用漂亮的印章配合立體燙金技術，加上滿滿的愛心與創意，為願望童寫上最真摰佳節祝福，希望他們能感受我們一點點心意。

2018� 年是願望成真基金� 20� 周年的大日子，我們將舉辦更多別出心裁的義工活動，希望好快再見到大家！

Together, we made gold embossing Christmas cards and wrote heartfelt blessings in them for our Wish Children.

2018 is the 20th Anniversary of Make-A-Wish Hong Kong and we have a lot of exciting activities lined up for our volunteers as part of our celebrations. We hope we will be seeing you soon!
