� オープンコースウェア
� 2001年 MITがOCWのコンセプトを発表
� 2003年 MIT本格的にOCWを開始（当初500コース）
� 2005年 日本でのOCW開始（６大学）
� 2006年 国際コンソーシアム発足（MIT内組織）、JOCW発足（９大
学）
� 2007年 MIT当初の計画とおり、全コース（1800)公開を達成
� 2008年 国際コンソーシアム独⽴したNPOに
� 2013年 49カ国、277組織から約25,000科目が公開
� オープン教育資源（OER)
� 2002年 UNESCO主催の“Forum on the Impact of Open Courseware for
Higher Education in Developing Countries” にてOER提唱
� 2012年 UNESCOが“2012 World Congress on OERs”を開催し、2012パ
リOER宣言を採択

Asuka Academy
� オープンエデュケーションの基本理念は良質な
教育資産の流通により、⼈類の知的発展に貢献
することである。
� ⾦融資産は使えば減るが、知的資産は使っても減
らない、流通によって多くの付加価値、更なる知
的資産を生み出す財である。
� OERの多くの資産はMITを始め、英語で提供され
ている。
� MIT OCWは中国語、スペイン語を始め、多くの
言語に翻訳され、その言語圏で活用されている。
� 上記コンセプトを日本語圏で提供することが
Asuka Academyの使命である。 19
