2. All distempering/painting work will be verified by a combined committee of IWD engineers andusers of above mentioned work as per following 4 stages:

(i) After Scrapping stage.

(ii) After Water thinable priming coat stage.

(iii) After Distempering I't coat stage.

(i") After Distempering 2"d coat stage.

3. The quotation forms cornplete in all aspects should be submitted in sealed envelope along withtender fbe of Rs 500/- in the fbrm of demand draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, IIT (BHU),payable at Varanasi.

4. The estimated cost of this work is Rs. 3,72.769.00. The earnest money deposit of Rs. 6,300/- shallbe submitted in the form of FDR or DD in favour of the Registrar, IIT (BHU), payable at Varanasi.The EMD of successfirl bidder will be retained till the completion of work and shall be returnedafter the payment of final bill & deduction of security. The EMD of unsuccessful bidders shall bereturned after the final award of work.

5. In case one or more eligible bidders are found lowest that is the L-l prices are same then all L-1bidders will be asked to resubmit their bids in sealed envelop with the objective to break the tiecases and determine a single L-l bidder.

6. The works will be executed on Agreement/work order basis.

7. Institute reserves the right to reject any quotation or all quotation without prejudice, assigning anyreason or giving any explanation.

8. If quotation are submitted without clearly writing the rates then quotation will not be considered.

9. Quotation not signed by the contractor or his legally authorized agent will be considered invalid.

10. Security deposit @ 5% shall be deducted from each bill The security deposit of 5Yo deductecl fromall the bills will be refunded after completion of'the defect liability period i.e. 6 months from thedate of works completion. The date of issue of work completion certificate will be treated as thework completion date.

ll. \%water tax will be deducted from each bill, wherever applicable.

5a/oTrade tax and 2olo Income Tax will be deducted from each bill.

Amount and quantity variation: Quantity may vary as per actual work execution/site

requirement/end user suggested changes during execution but the final bill value shall not exceed

more than 5olo of order value.

Work completion period: Within 30 days from the issue of work order/date of agreement. Work

completion certificate shall be issued by the IWD after obtaining a satisf'actory work done report

from the user. A period of l0 days will be added to the work completion period for completion ofabove procedure.

Late work completion penalty: lf work in not completed within the given time, penalty will be

deducted as per institute norms.

Any damage caused to the building shall have to be made good by contractor at no extra cost &without any delay.

Duly completed tender document alongwith Quotation form, tender fee & E.M.D. should be sealed

in one Envelop which should be superscribed with Name of work, Tender Reference No. & date

submitted on or before the last date & time as mentioned at S. No. I above.

The bids submitted after the last date & tirne will not be considered fbr opening. The bids received

within the last date & time will be opened on 06.06.2017 at 4:00 P.M. in the Committee room

(Ground Floor) of the Adrninistrative Building, llT (BHU), Varanasi.
