Old-fashioned machiya townhouses and samurai residences can be found throughout Kanazawa, remnants of an age when the samurai walked the streets. Today, many of the historic townhouses citywide have been repurposed for use as restaurants, lending them a traditional appeal and atmosphere that draws customer interest. The Kanazawa Machiya townhouses are one of the city's most distinctive features; we hope you will enjoy them as you travel around the city to collect stamps from various locations.

Restaurants from throughout Kanazawa come together at the Shiinoki Cultural Complex to set up booths and offer their delicious specialties. There will also be live classical music mini-concerts and more, offering a lovely time for all.The wall of the event hall is essentially one giant window, offering spectacular views of Kanazawa Castle lit up at night ̶ the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a sophisticated evening of food and drink.
