東京工業大学リーダーシップ教育院とは

私自身が心から達成したいと思うことが見つからないとき、ToTALに出会いました。ここには夢だとか志みたいなものを持っている人がたくさんいて、夢がある人たちと一緒にいれば私も夢が見つかるかもしれないな、と思ったからです。私たちが一期生ということもあり、全員でToTALという組織を作り上げていけるという点にも魅力を感じました。私にとってのリーダーシップは、自分以外の誰かのために行動したいと思うこと。メンバーの居心地の良い空間を作ろうと思うのも、使いやすいプログラムを構築してみるのも、それは形が違うだけで、リーダーシップであることに変わりはないと思います。

I have experienced being a leader before. I found it tough to move the

team forward without friction.

In the past, I was unable to solve several problems and to find the

cause of those particular issues, but what I learned from ToTAL has

made me gradually understand the problems I was confronted with.

Leadership is a skill that enables people to influence others into actions

that have a positive impact on society. Leadership also includes the

ability to manage and oversee the smooth running of things. I hope in

the future I will see myself as a better leader than before.

Kotchakorn T. Sriwong

I learned about ToTAL when I was not able to find what I wanted to

accomplish. Many students in ToTAL are pursuing their dreams and

aspirations, and I thought I might be able to find my own dreams by

interacting with those people. I also found it interesting that we could

build an organization by ourselves as the first cohort of ToTAL.

Leadership, for me, is thinking to act for someone else other than

yourself. Creating a comfortable environment for team members, or

developing a high usability application – although their forms are different,

I consider these to be both skills of leadership.

What is the Tokyo Tech Academy for Leadership (ToTAL)?

Excellence program for leadership development, open to a select group of

students aspiring to create new values by fully utilizing their expertise in a

synergistic, global environment
