ibituarijMrs. Mary A. “S later” Brown was born on August 2, 1940, in Thomson, (3a. ( McDuffie County ) to the late Mr. Freddie Paschal and the late Mrs. Annie Kate Parks Paschal. “Sister” departed th is life on Sunday, January 15,2006, a t the Medical College of Georgia.
Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Larry Brown, and her brothers, Rev. Freddie Paschal and Pete Bandera Lowe.
Mar y Brown waa e d u c a t e d in t h e McDuffie County School System. She accepted Christ a t an early age, and was baptized a t Piney Grove Daptist Church. She later united with Seulah Grove S aptis t Church where she sang in the Senior Choir and was a member of the mission. In addition, she assisted with directing the children’s choir until her health failed.
She ieaves to cherish her memories a devoted daughter, Denise A. Scott, Augusta, Ga., one sister-in-law, Mrs. Oia Paschal, Augusta, Ga., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
