The mellow one

Frank Biela won with speed and intelligence.

Intelligent, mellow, relaxed Frank Biela always cultivated a fair

and pragmatic driving style. Born in Neuss in 1964, he entered

the DTM in 1987 and won the overall title there with Audi in

1991. This was followed by championships in France (1993) andthe UK (1996) in the two-liter class. Biela and Audi celebrated

their greatest triumphs at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the years

2000, 2001, 2002, 2006 and 2007.
