LOTTE HOTEL SIGNS DEAL TO PURCHASE BOBATH MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

호텔롯데는 11월 4일, 보바스기념병원 인수 본계약을 체결했습니

다. 보바스기념병원의 노인 요양·어린이 재활 인프라를 활용해 소

외 계층과 취약 계층에 대한 의료 봉사 등 사회 공헌 활동을 강화하

고 적극적으로 추진할 예정입니다.

On Nov. 4, Lotte Hotel signed a deal to take over Bobath

Memorial Hospital. With the hospital’s infrastructure in place

to elderly care and pediatric rehab, Lotte Hotel will look to

strengthen its social contribution efforts, including providing

medical services for the underprivileged.

LOTTE HOTEL MAKES DONATION TO FUTURE FOREST

롯데호텔은 10월 28일, 사막화 방지를 위한 방풍림 조성 사업을 위

해 사단법인 미래숲 재단에 기부금 4천만원을 전달했습니다. 2013

년부터 진행하고 있는 ‘띵크 네이쳐Think Nature’ 캠페인 중 하나로,

침대 시트나 수건을 매일 세탁하지 않고 재사용해도 좋다는 의미의

‘그린카드’를 걸어둔 객실에서 절감한 관리 비용을 모아 환경보호

활동에 기부합니다. 기부금은 매년 중국 네이멍구 쿠부치 사막의

사막화 방지 조림 사업을 위한 식수 활동에 쓰입니다.

On Oct. 28, Lotte Hotel donated 40 million won to Future

Forest, an organization dedicated to making windbreaks to

prevent desertification. Lotte Hotel launched ‘Think Nature’

campaign in 2013, and guests can place their ‘green cards’ to let

our housekeepers know they will reuse their sheets or towels.

And the money saved from this campaign is donated to efforts

to protect the environment. Lotte’s contributions are used to

plant trees in the Kubuqi Desert in Inner Mongolian Autonomous

Region of China.

offering dynamic portraits of plants, humans and the relationship

between them. Lee cut out a piece of a photographed face from

a magazine and made a plant with it -- her jab at the modern

society where things are often symbolized, stereotyped and

standardized. The artist wants the viewers to appreciate the

preciousness of things we may easily overlook in our lives.

롯데호텔이 10월 6일, 서울 잠실에 위치한 서비스아카데미에서 서

울시 청소년지원센터의 꿈드림 청소년들을 대상으로 바리스타 과

정을 경험할 수 있는 프로젝트를 진행했습니다. 롯데호텔은 2015

년 서울시 청소년 지원센터와 MOU를 체결한 후 매년 샤롯데 봉사

단 재능 기부 프로젝트의 일환으로, 청소년들을 대상으로 ‘롯데호텔

서비스 교육과정’을 실시하고 있습니다.

On Oct. 6, Lotte Hotel ran a barista training program for young

people at Seoul Youth Support Center at Service Academy. After

reaching an MOU with the center in 2015, Lotte Hotel has been
