ABSTRAK
Sesuatu yang penting di dalam agama Islam adalah bahasa arab, karena untuk
dapat memahami agama Islam, maka harus menggunakan bahasa arab. Namun
pembelajaran yang ada pada masa sekarang masih dapat dibilang sulit untuk
membantu para pelajar dalam belajar bahasa arab, karena banyak faktor yang
membuat belajar bahasa arab menjadi sulit.
Harus ada jalan alternative lain untuk dapat membantu pembelajaran belajar
bahasa arab, tidak hanya berpaku pada pelajaran formal, tetapi di luar pelajaran
formal kita dapat belajar bahasa arab dengan mudah dan menyenangkan.
Dengan berkembangnya teknologi yang ada, game edukasi dengan genre side
scrolling 2D dapat menjadi solusi alternative pembelajaran bahasa arab untuk
membantu pembelajaran bahasa arab. Game edukasi ini berbasis Android mengambil
genre petualangan agar game edukasi lebih menjadi menarik dan menyenangkan pada
saat dimainkan serta memiliki alur cerita sejarah Islam Muhammad Al-Fatih untuk
dapat memberikan pengetahuan tentang sejarah Islam.

ABSTRACT
Something important in Islam is the Arabic language, because to be able to
understand the religion of Islam, it must use the Arabic language. But the learning
that is present today can not help to make the students who learn Arabic can master
the Arabic language, many factors that make learning Arabic difficult.
There should be another alternative way to help learn Arabic learning, not
just be taught in formal lessons, but outside of formal lessons we can learn Arabic
with ease and fun.
For that 2D side scrolling educational game can be an alternative solution of
learning Arabic language to help learning Arabic language. This Android-based
educational game takes the adventure genre to make educational games more
interesting and fun when played and has a history story of Islam Muhammad Al-Fatih
to be able to provide knowledge about Islamic history.

rahmat dan karunia-Nya sehingga penulis dapat menyelesaikan tugas akhir yang
berjudul “Game Side Scrolling 2D Sebagai Media Penunjang Pembelajaran Bahasa
Arab”.
Penulisan skripsi ini diajukan untuk memenuhi salah satu syarat kelulusan
dalam jenjang perkuliahan Strata I Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. Dalam
penulisan skripsi ini penulis tidak lepas dari hambatan dan kesulitan, namun berkat
bimbingan dan bantuan dari berbagai pihak, akhirnya hambatan tersebut dapat diatasi
dengan baik. Selanjutnya penulis tulus mengucapkan terimakasih kepada kedua orang
