Proposed  language:  *For  the  mathema,cs  and  natural  science  core  course  op,ons,  the  following  policy  should  apply:  If  a  student  completes  a  course  in  a  subject  area  for  which  one  of  the  general  educa3on  core  course  op3ons  in  the  same  subject  area  is  a  prerequisite,  that  student  should  be  considered  to  have  completed  the  por3on  of  the  core  in  that  subject  area.  In  some  instances  there  may  be  courses  similar  in  content  in  the  general  educa3on  program  that  are  at  a  more  advanced  level,  but  do  not  include  a  core  course  as  a  prerequisite,  in  these  instances  the  more  advanced,  similar  course  will  be  considered  to  have  completed  the  por3on  of  the  core  in  that  subject  area.
