Hydroelectric energy is derived from hydropower. Hydropower is generated from the

gravitational force of flowing or falling water. Hydroelectric energy is the widely used renewable

form of energy, worldwide. This renewable form of energy has been used for centuries by

humankind. Hydroelectricity is produced when the water passed through mechanical turbines.

The water pressure forces the turbines to turn, and then the mechanical energy generated by

turning turbines are converted to electricity.

    ADVANTAGES OF HYDROELECTRIC ENERGY

Once a dam is built, hydroelectric energy can be generated at a constant rate. If there is

no need for electricity, the energy generation can be stopped by closing the sluice

gates. The water from the ocean, lake, or river can be saved for used for another time

when demand for electricity is high. Also, dams built are designed to last for many

decades, contributing to hydroelectric energy generations for many decades. Also, lakes

formed behind dams can be used for pleasure/ leisure activities such as water sports.arge dams often became tourist attractions. akes behind dams can serve for

    irrigation.

On top of all, generating hydroelectric energy does not produce green house gasses.

This is a renewable form of energy that does not pollute the atmosphere.

Technology in education plays an important role in improving the educational skills and

knowledge of the people. This is very important especially those who need improve theirknowledge in order for them to achieve a successful life in the future. Technology in education is

manifested through the use of computers. This is also a great help for teachers since they can

already enhance their teaching skills and strategies every time they are facing their class. This

technology is very essential for both the students and the teacher but there are some instances

wherein this technology is seen to be disadvantageous for both of them as well.

    ADVANTAGES OF TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION

Promotes Independent Learning for the Students

!tudents can already learn from their own even without the assistance of their parentsand teachers. They are "ust going to surf the internet in order to look for the lessons

they need to study. #uick accessibility and well$e%uipped with the skills and knowledge

in operating a computer would be very helpful for the students.

Easiness in Studies and Answering for their Homework

!tudents need not to bring with them their heavy books all the time since through the

use of some of their technological gadgets they can already access to the internet and

surf what they are looking for. All the answers for their homework can already be

answered as soon as you surf the internet.

Promotes Exciting Way to Educate Students

!ince there are lots of images, videos and other graphics and te&t that may be found in

your computer, more students would feel the e&citement in studying through the use of

the gadget. This is very important in order to arouse their interest in studying.
