meaning to those of ‘Hall of Fame’, as they imply for one to believe in themselves, and put across a ‘you can do it’ message.
O Also, as in ‘Hall of Fame’, the video clips of the singer(s) are separate to the story of the video, therefore allowing the story of the other characters to be put in the forefront more.

DifferenceO The storyline of the video ‘Gold’ does not have a
sporting theme, and although its lyrics can be interpreted in such a way, it has no connection to sport. Unlike ‘Hall of Fame’, where there is a very obvious sporting link of the boxer and the ballet dancer.
