They interviewed 80 parents and children aged six to 12. Nearly 80 percent of them had developed habits of exercising and over 70 percent of them became sick less easily. But the police said there were 600. Many protesters brought along their pets to walk from Central to the government headquarters in Admiralty. Animal Earth (動物地球) founder and chief officer David Wong Kai-yan (繼仁) said the police treat animal abuse cases as minor cases. He said they are not willing to follow up on them. One of the protesters said many other countries have an animal police service. The police responded by saying it is hard to set up the service because there are not enough police officers at the moment. BGCA said parents help children maintain healthy lifestyles.
