Studio Art: Digital and Mixed Media Unit 1 Term 2 Task 3 Digital Walking tour through your own landscape Use Google Sketch Up to create your own 3D landscape. You can create your own world! Once it is complete, record a walkthrough to show as your final work. 1. The whole process needs to be documented in your visual diary. Start by collecting reference / inspiration material and stick in your book. Annotate, explaining why you have collected these images. What do you think your landscape will look like? 2. Create your sketch up landscape – screen grab often showing each new development in your landscapes progress. (Screen shot – Command + Shift + 3) 3. You can make your landscape look realistic or totally fantastical. 4. Once you have completed it – walk through it like a tourist taking pictures (screen shots) of your landscapes. These need to go in your book. Annotate 5. Create a walk through video of your moving about your landscape using the screen recorder in quicktime. (instructions will be given). 6. Save your final images and video using correct file name: YourName_TaskName.jpg or video file.

Walking tour through your own landscape
