The U.S. Green Building Council is committed to a prosperous, healthy and sustainable

future through its LEED green building program. LEED is driving international green building

practices with more than 98,000 projects participating in LEED across 175 countries

and territories worldwide and 2.4 million square feet of construction space certifying

everyday. LEED certification covers a building’s full life cycle and has different standards

that apply to all building types including office buildings, residential, warehouse, hotels,

hospitals, data center etc.

USGBC，dating from America in 2002, has successfully held Greenbuild in multiple major

markets globally, such as China, India, Europe, Mexico, America etc. It gathers global

industry leaders, experts and pioneers of practice, creates industry communication

platforms and promotes the developments and transformation of industries.

GREENBUILD CHINA 2019 | OCT 23-24

China is the largest market for LEED outside US in terms of certified area. By the end

of June 2019, more than 1,900 projects which located in mainland, Hongkong, Taiwan and

Macao of China, with total area over 83 million square meters, have obtained LEED. In

addition, more than 4,300 LEED's professionals live and work here.

The 2nd Greenbuild China, successfully held in 2018 in Shanghai Tower which is the world

tallest building obtained LEED's platinum certification, attracted 26 sponsors, 11 industry

partners, 85 lecturers, and over 600 participants coming from 12 countries. And it

possessed more than 300,000 followers in social media.

2019年Greenbuild China绿色建筑峰会即将于10月23至24日在上海外滩W酒店举办，活动旨在推

动本土可持续发展事业，打造集合教育、交流、庆祝和展现领导力的国际平台。

活动包含10月22日的会前研讨会和绿色建筑观摩活动，大会两日包含开幕仪式、两场午宴分享会、

她力量早餐会、28个教育专场以及会后庆典活动。

In 2019, the Greenbuild China, which will be held in W Shanghai the Bund from October 23rd

to 24th, aims to advance local sustainable development and build an international platform

combined education, communication, celebration and demonstration of leadership.

There are pre-conference workshop and green tours on October 22nd. The two-day

conference contains opening ceremony, 2 luncheon sharing, Women in Green breakfast

gathering, 28 education sessions and post-meeting celebration.
