A Gvardeyskiyyazhelyy ankovy Polk has the Soviet Unions best tanks and crews and is ready or the next major ofensive. Te superbly heroic and skilled Guards heavy tank companyuses powerul heavy tanks to smash enemy armour anddestroy their cowardly gun positions. Each tank has twoocers, rather than the usual one per platoon in the othertank regiments, with orders to advance, advance, advance!

With the majority o the new IS-2 heavy tanks being sentsouth to reinorce Operation Bagration, your regiment willhave to make do with what you were given. Some regiments,

Your Gvardeyskiy yazhelyy ankovy Companies must beequipped entirely with the same tanks as the Battalion HQ.However, a Battalion HQ equipped with a KV-1e heavytank may equip up to hal o its companies with KV-1sheavy tanks.

recently relieved rom the Leningrad encirclement, are stillequipped with the older, yet heavily armoured, KV-1e tank.

Te KV-1s still provides the gallant tankers with agility and

speed, while the KV-85 ofers a better balance o repower toarmour. Te reliable Mark IV tanks rom our British riendsis more than capable o getting into places where normaltanks dare not try.

Te Great Patriotic War has taken the lives o millions odedicated socialist soldiers. While the Soviet Union is vast, even with the ull support o its people it cannot replacelosses on this scale.

Te valiant soviet rontovik is too valuable to waste withblunt tactics and is not to be thrown away meaninglesslyas in early years. You must use your soldiers wisely.
