    A person is a sexual harasser ifhe/she makes unwelcome sexual advances or unwelcome request for sexual favors, ORhe/she makes other unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature in which a reasonable person would anticipate that the subject of attention would be offended humiliated person would anticipate that the subject of attention would be offended, humiliated or intimidated.

  • WHAT CAN YOU DO ABOUT SEXUAL HARASSMENT

    ffLet the harasser know that the behaviour is offensive, unacceptable and must stop immediately.

    Keep a record of the events, behaviour, witnesses as well as your reactions and feelings about any incidents that occur.

    Report the behaviour and seek an advocate such as your supervisor, a student counselor or Residence Master if you are a student, or any other

    i l i h h f l f bl i h d supervisory personnel with whom you feel comfortable with and may provide advice and support to you and act as an informal mediator between you and the offender.

    Report the behaviour to the Gender Equity Officer (GEO), and from then on follow the University complaint resolution procedure.y p p
