Mario Nistal (Valladolid – España, 1979). Se gradúa en ingenieria mecánica por la Politécnica de Gijón y más tarde completa su formación graduándose en Ingeniería de diseño industrial por la Politécnica de Valencia.Empieza su carrera como diseñador en la industria de la iluminación y el mueble en Valencia, aprendiendo los procesos industriales para un mejor y efectivo diseño.En el 2013 funda su propio estudio de diseño y nistal.

Mario Nistal (Valladolid – Spain,1979). He graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the Polytechnic of Gijon and later completing his training and graduating as Industrial Design Engineer at the Polytechnic of Valencia. He began his career as a designer in the industry of Valencia of lighting and furniture, learning industrial processes for better and eff ective design. In 2013 he founded his own design studio and nistal.

Vacceo hace reminiscencia a los recipientes que usaron las primeras civilizaciones en la edad del hierro en nuestra ciudad Valladolid. Con esta luminaria queremos recordar a nuestros antepasados los Vacceos que de una manera artesana crearon utensilios y recipientes para su día a día.La luminaria tiene una estructura de madera de álamo torneada con un acabado artesanal excelente.En la parte superior podemos elegir los colores tendencia, negro, oro y cobre rosado.

Vacceo evokes the bowls that used the first civilizations in the Iron Age in our city Valladolid. With this light we want to remind our ancestors the Vacceos that in a craftsman way they created utensils for their day to day.The luminaire has a turned poplar wood structure with an excellent handcrafted finish.At the top we can choose the trend colors, black, gold and pink copper.

Menuet es una colección de lámparas inspirada en la antigua danza tradicional de la música barroca francesa de los siglos XVII y XVIII llamada Menuet. Esta consta de su versión masculina y femenina:Menuet Homme, la parte masculina del baile de luces representando las formas más robustas y varoniles.Menuet Femme, la parte femenina con un toque delicado de fi nura y estilismo.La combinación de una pareja representa un baile íntimo y sensual, pero la combinación de muchas parejas da como resultado un espectacular baile de salón.Su estructura principal es de madera de fresno combinada con partes metálicas acabadas en colores de tendencia como cobre rosado, oro y negro.

Menuet is a collection of lamps inspired by the former traditional dance of the baroque French music of the XVIIth and XVIIIth century called Menuet. It has its masculine and feminine version:Menuet Homme is the masculine part of the dance of lights representing the most robust and manly forms.Menuet Femme is the feminine part with a delicate touch of fi neness and style.The combination of a couple represents an intimate and sensual dance, but the combination of many couples results in a spectacular ballroom dance.The main structure of our luminaires is made of ash tree wood combined with metal parts fi nished in trend colors like rose copper, gold and black.

Diabolo es un juguete con más de 4000 años de antigüedad, en esta luminaria hemos querido representar de forma simbólica sus tronco-conos para crear diferentes versiones. Usamos ma-teriales y colores cálidos para iluminar ambientes acogedores.

Diabolo is a toy with more than 4000 years old, in this lamp we wanted to symbolically represent its trunk cones to crea-te diff erent versions. We use warm materials and colors to brighten cozy environments.

El cobre es uno de los primeros metales utilizados por es ser humano. En Cu buscamos la pureza de este dándole una forma orgánica, intentando plasmar el elemento en su momento de extracción.

Copper is one of the fi rst metals used by humans. In Cu we look for the purity of this giving an organic form, we try to represent the element at the moment of extraction.

Cuando comenzamos el proceso de diseño de esta nueva colección, nos centramos en crear una lámpara con una forma reconocible.Las formas geométricas y el material seleccionado nos hace recordar con nostalgia los antiguos recipientes de cristal que se usaban para transportar la leche.La estructura está formada por una pantalla de cristal blanco y una parte superior de madera de fresno.Milkia tiene dos versiones, una de suspensión (Milkia Hanging) y otra de pared (Milkia Wall). Además no hay que olvidar la versión reducida BabyTodas ellas se pueden combinar entre si para iluminar los es-pacios de los distintos proyectos.

When we started the process of designing this new collection, we focused on creating a lamp with a recognizable shape.The geometric shapes and the selected material reminds us with nostalgia of the old glass containers that were used to transport the milk.The structure is made up of a white glass shade and an ash wood top.Milkia has two versions, one of suspension (Milkia Hanging) and one of wall (Milkia Wall). Also do not forget the reduced version BabyAll of them can be combined to illuminate the spaces of the diff erent projects.

Lámpara colgante de suspensión con un gran impacto visual creada a partir de dos conceptos, uno técnico y otro orgánico.El primer concepto es el control de la luz, buscamos la función de la lámpara como un foco proyector.El segundo concepto es el de una fl or que abre los petalos y los estambres es su luz.

Hanging lamp with a high visual impact created from two concepts, one technical and one organic.The fi rst concept is the control of light, we seek the function of the lamp like a spotlight.The second concept organic is a fl ower that opens the petals and the stamens are its light.
