การส่งสญัญาณในรูปแบบ

High Definition หรอื HD

HD ย่อมาจากค าว่า High-Definition นัน้ เป็นรูปแบบหรือมาตรฐานใหม่ส าหรับการส่งสัญญาณภาพที่มีความละเอียดสูงในระดับ 720p/1080p/1080i ซึ่งให้ภาพที่คมชัดและมีรายละเอียดสูงกว่าดีวีดีทั่วไป ระบบการส่งสัญญาณภาพแบบ HD ในระดับ 1080pจ าเป็นต้องใช้สายแบบ HDMI เท่านัน้ ส่วนสาย Component ทั่วไปจะรองรับเฉพาะที่ความละเอียด 720p และ 1080i เท่านัน้ส่วน HDTVหมายถงึ TVที่รองรับความละเอียดระดับ Hi-Def ให้ภาพคมชัดมากมากกว่าปกติ

ย่อมาจาก High-Definition Multimedia Interface หมายถึงการเชื่อมต่อโดยส่งข้อมูลแบบ Multimedia เช่น ข้อมูลภาพและเสียง เป็นต้น ในรูปแบบที่มีความละเอียดสูง และไม่มีการบีบอัดข้อมูล ท าให้ผลรับที่ได้มีคุณภาพที่สูงขึ้นอย่างมาก

ตั้งแต่ภาคเรียนที่ 1/2561เป็นต้นไป ทางสถานีวิทยุโทรทัศน์การศึกษาทางไกลผ่านดาวเทียม ได้ออกอากาศในระบบความคมชัดสูง(High Definition หรือ HD) ควบคู่ไปกับระบบความคมชัดมาตรฐาน(Standard Definition หรือ SD) จนถึงสิ้นเดือนกันยายน 2561 จะท าการยุติการออกอากาศในระบบ SD
