Corpus Christi Processions June 23, is the Feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of

Christ, traditionally know as, “Corpus Christi.” Following the 11:00 am Mass at Sacred Heart, and the Noon Hispanic Mass at St. Mary, the Blessed Sacrament will be placed in the Monstrance and processed through the local neighborhood. Parishioners are encouraged to join the procession and pray with us as we display Jesus’ body as a sign of our common faith. Families with children who have recently received their First Communion are especially invited to this community celebration; you may even wear the special clothes you chose for the first time you received Jesus in the Eucharist.

Farewell Reception There will be a farewell reception for Fr. John Mitchell on Sunday, June 30, after the 8:00 am and 10:15 am Masses, in Holy Family Hall. If you wish to give Fr. John a going away card and/or gift, please make checks payable directly to Fr. John Mitchell and either bring them with you to the reception or send your card/gift directly to Fr. John at the Holy Family Parish Office, 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac, WI 54937. If you have any questions, please contact Gail Kraig at the parish office.

Tour Italy with Holy Family • May 2020 The Holy Family choir is inviting parishioners to join them on a pilgrimage and performance tour of Assisi, Florence, and Rome, May 13-21, 2020. Plans include walking tours of sites and enjoy performances by the Holy Family Choir, including a planned Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica. We also expect to see Fr. John Mitchell during the trip! You need not be a member of the choir or a musician to be a part of the trip. Contact Paul Thelen for more information.

There will be a

meeting on Wednesday,

June 26, at

Welcome Anja Ozols Dear Holy Family Community, My name is Anja Ozols, and I am thrilled to share that I’ll be serving as an intern at Holy Family this summer!

I grew up in Fond du Lac as a member of Holy Family, and attended St. Mary’s Springs Academy from kindergarten through twelfth grade. I graduated from SMSA in 2017, and am currently a

Junior at the College of Saint Benedict majoring in Theology and minoring in Music. Some of my interests include singing in the Chamber Choir and Jazz Ensemble, volunteering with Prison Ministry, playing friendly games of ultimate frisbee, learning the organ, drinking strong coffee, and praying the rosary. At school, I am also blessed to work for campus ministry on the Liturgy Team, planning and arranging music for student Mass. I love learning about the many ways our Lord comes to us through the Sacraments and Traditions of the church, then responding by coming together as a community to worship Him

This summer, I’m excited to be back home in Fond du Lac with my mom, dad, and brother, and to serve Holy Family Catholic Community! I can’t wait to bring some of the skills I’ve learned at school to Holy Family and experience many different ministries in a parish setting. Most of all, though, I’m excited get to know you and learn from you! If you see me around, please feel free to introduce yourself! Thank you so much for the opportunity to serve at Holy Family… I can’t wait to meet you!

Blessings and Peace, -Anja

contribution to help support the parish when you are remembering a deceased loved one or friend. If you
