城市智慧

“智慧城市”是現今熱烈研究和實踐的話題，以提升城市管理成效和改善市民生活質素，以及增強自己本土的可持續發展、效率及安全 (圖1)。(#)香港亦2017年12月開始研究及規劃<香港智慧城市藍圖>，致力把香港構建成為一個世界級的智慧城市。通過「智慧出行」、「智慧生活」、「智慧環境」、「智慧市民」、「智慧政府」及「智慧經濟」六個主要範疇勾劃出未來五年及以後的智慧城市發展計劃。

為配合智慧概念，弱電系統(ELV)已在各系統上全面數位化 (圖2)。在公共安全和執法範疇內，閉路電視系統(CCTV)及停車場管理系統等，利用人工智能(A.I.)及深度學習 (Deep Learning) 等嶄新技術去監察及識別，收集更多和更準確的資訊，掌握事故進展以有助制定相對策略及安排，在公共安全、執法和互聯網等範疇可發揮極大功效。並透過互聯網及物聯網(IoT)傳送海量資料去雲端平台，進行大數據(Big Data)分析及自動化管理，保安單位也可利用此技術，從數以萬計的人群中及極複雜環境下自動辨認出目標人物及車牌。把傳統弱電系統的固定監控程序移到流動程式(App)，從而提高系統的流動性以減輕營運者所需的資源及程序。

於公共機構及零售範疇內，通過最新的傳輸技術Zigbee ，LoRaLAN 及 BLE 等對環境進行實時的監測，為實行提高彈性及資料的準確性。除此，並利用無線網絡的定位功能 (Location Based Service)為市民及顧客提供更便利的室內導航，為機構提供人數統計及人流向的資料，以助管理及制訂策略。此外，我們更將已發展相當成熟的NFC 技術發揮並取代傳統的巡更系統，以提供實時的巡更資料。公共廣播系統亦由類比技術數碼化，並透過 Dante 及AVB 等技術於網絡上發揮其潛力及大大提高系統的可延性。利用HDBaseT™ 及 IPBaseT™ 等技術突破影視系統傳輸的距離限制，並實現更高質素、區域更廣及低延遲的影視廣播，為酒店提供更新穎的房間控制讓房客利用聲音、動作等方式對燈光、電視、窗簾等設施進行控制或諮詢酒店及城市的資訊。各服務機構亦可在客戶同意下收集資料，有助向顧客提供更貼心的服務。

總結於未來的智能發展方向，第五代(5G)流動高速網絡支援更多連網弱電系統系統裝置，使日後物聯網的應用可以更加全面 (圖3)：例如在路燈及標誌內加入無線訊號收發(WiFi)功能、閉路電視監察，讓行人、駕駛汽車更安全外，亦可提升道路的使用效率；也可安裝空氣質素感測器，檢測即時的污染狀況，這些都可以讓我們的生活更安全和更有效率。




Smart cities (Pic. 1) are the topic of today’s developing countries/cities. To enhance the effectiveness of city management and improve the quality of life of citizens, as well as enhance the city’s sustainable development, efficiency and safety. (#) In December 2017, Hong Kong also began researching and planning the “Hong Kong Smart City Blueprint” to build Hong Kong into a world-class smart city. The smart city development plans for the next five years and beyond are outlined in the six major areas of “Smart Mobility”, “Smart Living”, “Smart Environment”, “Smart People”, “Smart Government” and “Smart Economy”.

In line with the concept of “Smart”, our Extra Low Voltage (ELV) has been fully digitalized in various systems in the early years (Pic. 2). For example, closed-circuit television systems (CCTVs) and car park management systems use latest technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning to monitor and identify, collect information, and grasp the situation of accidents. Help to develop relative strategies and arrangements. Those systems are great in public security, law enforcement and the Internet development.

With the Internet and the Internet of Things (IoT) technology, massive amounts of data will be sent to the cloud platform for Big Data analysis and automated management. Security Units can also use this technology to identify target people and Vehicle License Recognition from tens of thousands of people and in extremely complex environments. Move from the fixed monitoring program to the mobile program (App) to improve the flexibility of the system and reduce the resources and procedures required by the operator.

With the latest transmission technologies Zigbee, LoRaLAN and BLE, we can monitor the real time environment more flexible and accurate. In the public area and retail sector, we provide wireless network coverage of the latest technology (802.11ax), and using the location base service to enable the indoor navigation service for citizens and customers, while at the same time provide information of people counting and the path flow of people to system owners for helping manage and strategy formulation. In addition, we will be using NFC technology to make the traditional patrol system to provide real-time patrol information. The access control system will also support multiple access methods such as QR codes and mobile applications to enhance the security and flexibility. The public address system will be digitized with technologies of “Dante” and “AVB” to realize its potential on the IP network and greatly improve the scalability of the system. Use technologies such as HDBaseT™ and IPBaseT™will break through the distance limit of video transmission and provide high quality and low latency video broadcasting. In the hotel sector,

room control system allows tenants & users to control lighting, television, curtains and other facilities by using sounds, movements, etc., method. System owners can also collect information by system and helps to enhance the customer intimacy.

In the future direction of smart development, the Extra Low Voltage will adopt the fifth-generation (5G) mobile high-speed network (Pic. 3) to support more system devices connection , so that the future application of the Internet of Things can be more comprehensive: for example, adding wireless signals to street lights and signs to provide (Wi-Fi) coverage , CCTV monitoring, making pedestrians and driving cars more safe, and improving the efficiency; also installing air quality sensors to detect pollution conditions, which can make our lives more safe and more efficient.

香港電器工程商會參加「學校起動」”Project WeCan” 計劃之活動

「學校起動」（Project WeCan）計劃是由九龍倉集團有限公司於2011年推出，主要是希望透過業界的協助為學習條件稍遜的中學生提供各種機會，體現「社、企共勉精神」。本會去年被邀請成為「學校起動」計劃的其中一個合作伙伴，並配對大埔區的「佛教大光慈航中學」為合作學校，以便我們能動員屬下會員協助學生安排多元化的學習活動及生涯規劃經歷。

生涯規劃日「學校起動」計劃辦公室於2018年11月24日(星期六)及2019年1月26日(星期六)與女青年會合作於在職業訓練局將軍澳丘子文學校舉行「學校起動」計劃之生涯規劃日。本會亦有派出義工協助。生涯規劃日主要是為協助同學在未來升學或就業前做好準備，為同學提供全方位、一條龍的職業導向活動，啟發他們及早計劃未來。同學需預先完成職志評估，然後在活動當日透過專業諮詢及輔導，了解自己的性格及職業志向；同時藉活動的重點項目「職場體驗」，從模擬職場情境中，認識不同工作的職責和所需技能；學生在探索和觀察的過程中，認識各行各業，了解社會上多元的發展機會。本年度有76間參與學校，超過5,000名高中學生透過活動認識職場的發展趨勢。本會分別在兩天的生涯規劃日內舉辦了八場體驗工作坊予中學生。每場工作坊有25-30名中五及中四的中學生參加。體驗工作坊主要是介紹電力工程行業予學生認識及即場指導學生，如何接駁一條三芯軟線到一個13安培的插頭上，並教導他們予完成後，如何利用萬用錶進行測

試。學生表現雀躍，反應熱烈，舉辦機構亦回應此體驗課程深受學生歡迎。

佛教大光慈航中學2019 陸運會頒獎禮佛教大光慈航中學2019陸運會頒獎禮於2019年1月24日(星期四)在大埔運動場舉行。本會為頒獎嘉賓。

2019年1月26日丘子文學校生涯規劃日

參觀中華電力有限公司龍鼓灘發電廠由本會策劃，帶領63名佛教大光慈航中學中二學生和4名老師於2019年2月20日(星期三)下午參觀了中華電力公司龍鼓灘發電廠。學生於參觀時甚感雀躍，亦吸收很多書本外有關工程的知識，收獲良多。

趁墟做老闆趁墟做老闆於2019年3月22-24日(星期五至日)在九龍讚石山荷里活廣場舉行。今年的參與學校數目高達63間，而企業夥伴的支持亦是史無前例。是次活動以2018年11月舉辦的簡介會作為起點，同學們透過企業分享、專業培訓、匯報、撰寫營商計劃書，體驗營商滋味。不單單是三天的活動，而特別在準備過程中的經歷更™重要。讓學生得以無懼挑戰，創造更多可能性。而本會也有到場支持。



安排職業講座經佛教大光慈航中學安排，本會分別於2019年4月12日(星期五)及5月2日(星期四)為中五三班學生進行職業講座，內容是勸勉同學要訂立將來的目標，如何揀選合適自己的職業和在電機業發展的好處和前景。

機電業博覽2019 - 機電新動力Electrical and Mechanical Expo 2019 - E&M New Momentum機電業博覽2019 - 機電新動力已於2019年3月8日(星期五)在職業訓練局葵涌大樓舉行，提供有關機電業最新的培訓、入職途徑、就業前景和晉升階梯等資訊，並提供即場職位申請。博覽由香港機電業

推廣工作小組主辦，共有19個公私營機構參與設置展覽攤位，吸引了27間中學，超過2000名學生、家長及老師到場參觀。是次博覽以「機電新動力」為題，展示機電業在建設智慧香港方面所作出的貢獻，並設有虛擬實境遊戲，讓入場人士體驗應用於不同機電工程的最新科技，提升對投身機電業的興趣。Electrical and Mechanical Expo 2019 - E&M New Momentum was held on 8 March 2019 (Fri) at the Vocational Training Council Kwai Chung Complex to provide the latest information on training, entry paths, career prospects and promotion pathways for the electrical and mechanical (E&M) engineering field, with on-the-spot job applications. The Expo was organised by the Hong Kong Electrical and Mechanical Trade Promotion Working Group. A total of 19 public and private organisations set up exhibition booths. The event attracted more than 2000 participants coming to visit the Expo, including students, parents and teachers from 27 secondary schools. With the theme of “E&M New Momentum”, the Expo showcased the efforts of E&M trades in developing a “smart” Hong Kong. There were also virtual reality interactive games for visitors to experience the application of innovation and technology in the E&M industry, aiming to attract new talents to the industry.

Time passes quickly and it is time for us to prepare the 19th edition of our biennial Association Journal.
