1 Housing Information 住居案内

This handbook introduces housing opportunities for exchange students in Sagamihara Campus at Aoyama Gakuin

University (hereafter, AGU). Please read the following information carefully and confirm the details.

このハンドブックには青山学院大学（以下、AGU）相模原キャンパスの交換留学生用の住居紹介が書かれています。これから先に出て

くる情報をよく読んでください。

2 AGU I-House (Sagamihara) 青山学院大学国際学生寮（相模原）

AGU I-House (Sagamihara) is an international student dormitory located in front of Sagamihara campus. It is a share

house and accommodation for male and female students, mainly separated by floors. Most of exchange students of

Sagamihara Campus live at I-House.

国際学生寮（相模原）は相模原キャンパスの前に建てられたシェアハウスで、男子メインフロアと女子メインフロアに分かれています。相

模原キャンパスの交換留学生のほとんどが入居しています。

If you want to use Internet in your room, you need to prepare a LAN cable (2m~3m long) beforehand.

その他

AGU I-House (Sagamihara) will not provide any meal service. You can prepare your own meal by using the common kitchen and the cooking utensils provided by them. Also you can buy something at a store nearby, eat at restaurant or use school Cafeteria at the Sagamihara campus (opening hours are different during the long holiday season, such as summer, winter and spring).

青山学院大学国際学生寮（相模原）では食事サービスはありません。キッチンの備付の器具を利用して自

分で食事を用意するか、近くの店で購入したりレストランで食事をとることもできます。また、相模原キャンパス

内の食堂も利用できますが、長期休暇期間（夏休み・冬休み・春休み）は営業していない日があります。

2.2 Accommodation Fees 諸費用

The accommodation fees are as follows. With regard to payment method and due date, please refer to 8.About

Regulations.

‣ Rent: 65,000 yen /month for Single room,

34,000 yen /month for Shared room (double-room)

‣ Bedclothes: 9,000 yen* (one-time fee / optional)

*You can purchase bedclothes which include futon (bedding), duvet and pillow (including each cover) from I-House.

以下が、賃料等に関する情報になります。支払方法や期日については、8.規則・規定についてを参照してください。

‣月額賃料（共益費含む）：一人部屋 ￥65,000/月、二人部屋 ¥34,000/月

‣布団代*：￥9,000（入居時のみ）

*布団一式（布団、掛布団、枕、*各カバー付）は国際学生寮（相模原）で購入することができます。

3. Application Instruction 申込方法

If you want to apply for dormitory, first please read and understand the rules and regulations for the dormitory written on

this handbook. Second, fill out the “Dormitory Application and Contract” and send it to us via post by April 15th, 2020

with other application documents. After reviewing your applications, we will arrange the room. If the dormitory room is

not available, we might suggest other options (other dormitory or different types of accommodation).

申込する場合は、まず、「留学生のための住居案内」に書かれている希望する寮の内容や規則・規定をよく読んで理解しましょう。その次

に「入居申込書と契約書」に記入して、その他の願書書類一式とともに 2020年 4月 15日までに郵送で送ってください。申し込み締め

切り後、申込内容を考慮して部屋を手配します。もし部屋が手配できない場合には、他の寮もしくは他の種類の宿泊場所を紹介しま

す。

4. Check-in Date 入寮日

September 3rd, Thursday, 2020 10:00am-7:00pm

Check-in date for all exchange students is September 3rd (Contract Start Date). You may check in on any date

after, but it is strongly recommended that you check in on September 2nd, as resident assistants (RAs) will assist new

exchange students on that day.

You will move from Narita airport to the dormitory by AGU bus. However, please keep in mind that you may not be able

to use the bus depending on your arrival time.

Information about airport pick-up bus will be announced by acceptance email in later date. If you plan to arrive in Japan

before the check-in date, please arrange your accommodation by yourself. If you come to the dormitory by yourself,

please make sure the check-in time of the dormitory. Please let us know your arrival information by submitting the

“Flight Information Sheet” which will be sent from us via email in later date.

* You may need to move from Narita airport to the dormitory by other means of transportation depending on the number

of people signed up for the pick-up bus.

入寮日は以下のとおり設定されています。

2020年 9月 3日（木）10:00am-7:00pm

交換留学生は、2020 年９月３日（木）が入寮日（契約開始日）です。その日以降に入寮しても問題ありませんが、Resident

Assistants (RAs)によるオリエンテーション等が予定されていますので、この日に入寮することを強くお勧めします。

成田空港から寮までは、本学が手配したバスで移動します。ただし、飛行機の到着時間によっては、このバスに乗車できないことがあります

ので、注意してください。

このバスの案内は、後日、入学決定通知メールでお知らせします。入寮日前に日本に到着する場合は、自分で滞在先（ホテルなど）の

手配をしてください。もし自分で寮へ移動する場合は上記の入寮時間内に到着するようにして下さい。後日、「日本到着日時についての

申告書」をメールでお送りしますので、それに到着情報を記入してください。

*人数によっては、手配したバスではなく、その他の電車などで移動する可能性があります。

5 Moving-out Date 退寮日

The move-out date can be set only at the end of each month. The final check-out date is as follows so please make

sure to move out by that date.

退寮日は原則として月末のみとします。最終退寮日は、以下のとおりです。各日程までに退寮してください。

*** Other Important Note ***

If the shared rooms are full, AGU will allocate students in twin or single rooms of the dormitory. For those who

receive accommodation fee waiver based upon the agreement between universities, it is required to follow

decisions made by AGU.

Accommodation fee waiver only applies for shared rooms. If students would like to live in a single room for

their own convenience, they need to pay for the extra fees (the amount of difference between single and

shared: 31.000yen/month).

シェアルームが満室の場合は、寮のツインルームまたはシングルルームが割り当てられます。大学間の協定により、寮費が免除さ

れる学生は、大学による部屋の選定に従う必要があります。

寮費免除の学生は、シェアルームのみ申し込みができます。個人的な理由でシングルルームを希望する学生は、自己負担で

追加料金を払う必要があります。（シングルルームとシェアルームの差額：31,000 円／月）

To leave the dormitory before the contract term ends

Submit “Leaving notice” to your coordinator 40 days before the date you move out.

8 About Regulations 規則・規定について

Staying at AGU I-House (Sagamihara), you need to agree the following regulations.

青山学院大学国際学生寮(相模原)に入居する場合、以下の規則・規定を了承することが必要です。

1. I obey the rules and regulations (written on page 9-12) of AGU I-House (Sagamihara) (hereafter,

I-House) in every case.

青山学院大学国際学生寮(相模原)（以下、国際学生寮）が定めた規則・規定（9-12 ページに記載）に従います。

2. I will pay for any intentional damages or loss to the dormitory property for which I am responsible.

故意による宿舎内の施設及び物品の破損、紛失には責任を持って弁償をいたします。

3. If I violate the above regulations, I may be expelled from I-House.

上記規定への違反行為があった場合、退去を求められることがあることを了承いたします。

4. Depending on the number of applicants, I agree that the room type may not be assigned according to

my request. And also the dormitory may be changed from I-House to the different dormitory. In that

case, the coordinator will inform you in advance.

入寮希望者の人数により、希望通りの部屋の種類にならないことや、予定している国際学生寮とは別の寮へ変更になる可能性が

あることを了承いたします。変更がある場合は担当者から事前に連絡があります。

5. As for double room, I agree that AGU will assign my roommate.

2 人部屋の場合、部屋割りは大学が決定することを了承いたします。

6. I agree that my contract period is based on “4.Check-in Date” and “5.Moving-out Date” of “Housing

Information for Exchange Students”.

契約期間については、「留学生のための住居案内」の「4.入寮日」と「5.退寮日」であることを了承いたします。

7. I agree that cancellation fee is based on “6. Cancellation” of “Housing Information For Exchange

Students”.

キャンセル料については、「留学生のための住居案内」の「6.キャンセル」に基づき費用が発生することを了承します。

8. I agree that rent shall be payable by the 27th of each month by cash or bank transfer (overseas

remittance for the initial payment), provided that when the 27th is Saturday, Sunday, or Holiday, the

rent for the following month shall be paid before the 27th.

賃料は毎月 27 日までに現金または銀行振り込み（初回のみ海外送金）で（27 日が土日祝日の場合はその前日までに）、翌

月分を決済することを了承します。

9. For our smooth procedure, I agree that AGU will share my personal information written on this

application with whom it may concern.

諸手続きを円滑にするため、大学が寮申込書に書かれた個人情報を関係者で共有することを了承します。

Aoyama Gakuin University International House (Sagamihara)

Dormitory Rules

Introduction

Aoyama Gakuin University International House (Sagamihara) is part of the Global Residence -

Sagamihara. Please follow the building contract for Global Residence - Sagamihara as well as

following AGU’s dormitory rules and as a member of AGU, please behave appropriately.

1. Whole building

1.1 Aoyama Gakuin University International House (Sagamihara) (hereinafter referred to as the

"AGU I-House (Sagamihara)") residents are limited to college students / graduate students /

international students (including exchange students) / researchers / research students who

applied for AGU I-House (Sagamihara) through Aoyama Gakuin University.

1.2 Residents of this building

In addition to the residents listed above in 1.1, general residents approved by the building

manager (hereinafter, “administrator”) occupy this building as well.

1.3 Utilization of shared facilities

1.3.1 This building has multiple shared facilities. Please use them while being considerate of

your fellow residents, e.g. refrain from leaving personal items or use for them for a long

time etc., so that everyone can use it pleasantly.

1.3.2 Maintain and use the shared facilities and furniture carefully, and please return the

equipment promptly after usage to their designated places.

1.3.3 In case of malfunction, damage, loss of the shared facilities and items, please contact

the administrator promptly. In the case that malfunction, damage, or loss is due to

carelessness by the user, the user will be responsible for the expenses to replace or

repair the facility or item.

1.4 Manners in the building and facilities

1.4.1 Please pay attention to the neighborhood and the residents of this building, refrain from

making loud noises or being a nuisance, and take moderate actions.

1.4.2 Smoking outside of the designated places is prohibited in the shared facilities.

1.4.3 Consumption of alcohol is permitted inside the facility, but underage consumption of

alcohol is prohibited. In Japan, the Legal age for the consumption of alcohol is twenty

(20) years old. Also, please refrain from drinking alcohol excessively.

1.4.4 Do not leave personal items in common facilities. Any items left behind may be collected

without notice.

1.5 Consideration to the neighborhood

1.5.1 Do not be a nuisance, disturb with loud noises, dispose garbage or hang around at night

in the neighborhood.

1.5.2 Parking bicycles or Motorbikes in the street, is prohibited for both residents and visitors.

2. Utilization of private room

2.1 Utilization of your private room

2.1.1 You may not alter or renovate the fixtures of your room. We will charge the repair cost if

alternations or renovations of the fixtures is done.

2.1.2 Your private room may not be used for purposes other than residential occupation, such

as commercial acts, politics / thought / religious activities, etc.

2.1.3 Pets (dogs, cats, birds, fish and other animals) are prohibited.

2.1.4 You may not cook inside your room, so please use the shared kitchen.

2.1.5 It is prohibited to use electric heaters inside your room.

2.1.6 Please do not leave personal items when moving out.

2.2 Room behavior

2.2.1 Between midnight and 6am, it is prohibited to make noises which disturb other residents.

Please be careful not to disturb other people with radio, TV, stereo, telephone, Skype,

instrument performance and voice training, etc. Especially when someone is sharing the

room with you.

2.2.2 Each resident shall be responsible for the cleaning of their room and shall keep it clean.

Please dispose of your garbage from your room at the designated place as specified.

3. Crisis control and management

3.1 Crime and disaster prevention

It is prohibited to use fire outside of the designated location or to bring dangerous items

into the building.

3.2 Loss / theft

Each resident shall be responsible for managing their own personal property within the

building.

Aoyama Gakuin University and the building management company are not responsible for

lost or stolen property.

4. Eviction

If you fail to comply with any of the above rules and/or those of Global Residence -

Sagamihara's building contract, you may be required to leave the AGU I-House (Sagamihara).

入居規則

はじめに

青山学院大学 国際学生寮（相模原）は「グローバルレジデンスさがみはら」の一部を借り上げる形で設置しています。別途、「グ

ローバルレジデンスさがみはら」の入居規約を守ると同時に、本学の入居規則に従い、本学の一員として、節度ある行動を心がけて

ください。

１． 建物の全体について

1.1 青山学院大学 国際学生寮（相模原）（以下、国際学生寮）の入居者は青山学院大学を通じて、国際学生寮

に申し込みをした大学生/大学院生/留学生（交換留学生を含む）/研究員/研究学生等に限定されます。

1.2 本建物の居住者について

本建物には、上記 1.1 に記載の入居者の他に、本建物管理者（以下、管理者）が認める一般居住者が入居して

います。

1.3 共用施設の利用について

1.3.1 本建物は複数の共用施設があります。他の入居者と譲り合って利用し、私物の放置や長時間の独占利用等

は控え、皆が気持ちよく利用できるように心がけてください。

1.3.2 共用施設及び備品は丁寧に且つ清潔に使用し、備品の使用後は速やかに所定の場所へ返却してください。

1.3.3 共用施設及び備品の故障、破損、紛失等の場合は速やかに管理者へ連絡してください。利用者の不注意に

よる故障、破損、紛失等が生じた場合は実費負担になります。

1.4 建物内及び施設内での行動について

1.4.1 近隣及び本建物居住者への配慮を心がけ、騒音や迷惑行為を慎み、節度ある行動を心かけてください。

1.4.2 共用施設では、所定の場所以外の喫煙は禁じられています。

1.4.3 施設内では、飲酒は認められていますが、未成年者の飲酒は禁止です。また、過度の飲酒は慎むようにしてく

ださい。

1.4.4 共用施設では私物を放置しないでください。放置物は予告なく回収することがあります。

1.5 近隣への配慮について

1.5.1 近隣住民への迷惑行為・騒音・ゴミ捨て・夜間のたむろ行為はしないでください。

1.5.2 自転車・バイク・自動車の近隣道路への路上駐車及び迷惑駐車（来訪者含む）をしないでください。

２． 個室の使用について

2.1 個室の使用について

2.1.1 個室の造作を変更することや、改修することはできません。造作の変更や改修が確認された場合、修復費用

を請求します。

2.1.2 個室を商業行為、政治・思想・宗教活動等、居住以外の目的で使用することはできません。

2.1.3 ペット（犬、猫、鳥等の全ての動物・魚類等）の飼育は禁止します。

2.1.4 個室内では自炊はできませんので、共用キッチンを利用してください。

2.1.5 個室内での電熱器具を使用することを禁止します。

2.1.6 退去に際しては、私物を残置しないようにしてください。

2.2 個室でのマナーについて

2.2.1 午前 0 時から 6 時までは、ほかの入居者に不快感を与えると判断される騒音を出すことを禁止します。ラジオ・

テレビ・ステレオ・電話・Skype・楽器演奏や発声練習なども他人の迷惑にならないように留意してください。特に、

同居者がいる場合、特段の配慮を心がけてください。

2.2.2 個室内の清掃は各自の責任で行い、清潔に保ってください。個室内で出たゴミは各自、定められた方法と場所

へ処分してください。

３． 危機管理について

3.1 防犯・防災について

定められた場所以外での火気の使用や、建物内への危険物の持ち込みを禁止します。

3.2 紛失・盗難による損害について

本建物内における私物の管理は、自己責任で行ってください。紛失・盗難による被害について、本学ならびに建物管

理会社は一切責任を負いません。

4. 処分について

上記規則及び「グローバルレジデンスさがみはら」の入居規約に従わなかった場合は、本学より退寮処分となることがあり

ます。

FAQ よくある質問

Q1: Can I choose my roommate?

ルームメイトは私が決められますか。

Ａ1:No, you cannot. AGU will decide your roommate.

いいえ。AGU がルームメイトを決定します。

Q2: Can we check in before the check in date?

入寮日以前に入寮することはできますか。

Ａ2：No. You can’t check in before the stated check in date. For further information, please read 1.3

Check in Date.

決められた入寮日以前に入寮することはできません。詳しくは４．Check in Date 入寮日を確認してください。

Q3: Can we move out before the contract period ends?

契約期間より早く退寮したいのですが、どうしたらよいでしょうか。

Ａ3：If you have already decided the moving out date, please consult your coordinator in advance. If

you want to move out before contract period ends, please read ６．Cancellation キャンセル.

申込の時に退寮日がすでに決まっている場合は、事前に担当コーディネーターに必ず相談してください。契約期間途中で退寮した

い場合は、６．Cancellation キャンセルを確認してください。

Advice from Exchange Students 交換留学生からのアドバイス

○General Advice一般的なアドバイス

・Don’t buy new clothes in your country. You will buy plenty here.

・Please prepare yourself for every season.

・Feel free to connect with other students in the dorm, since the students here are very friendly.

○For future resident of I-House 国際学生寮生に入居する方へ

・I recommended I-House because it very comfortable and not so many regulations.

・There’re many public space so it might be better if you prepare your mind a little.

・There are various type of people in this dorm with different culture and ways of thinking that

maybe upset you. がんばってね！ (But there’re a lot of facilities)

・For “Muslim” new student, please be noted that finding Halal food is not easy. Please bring your

own cooking equipment.

・Bring your own cooking equipment and follow dormitory regulations.
