Add A Protocol Manually

The name of the protocol and its procedures can be saved

and edited inline

Protocols can have more than one procedure section. Click on the

plus to add a section

When  your  protocol  list  is  empty,  the  system  will  guide  you  to  add  your  first  protocol  (either  from  our  directory  or  manually).  Below  is  an  example  for  adding  a  protocol  manually:  

Mouse over the plus icon to add steps, samples, table or text elements to your procedure. Once added, you can re-arrange the elements inside

the procedure by dragging & dropping.

Use the Samples & Reagents table to connect between specific samples or tubes and the actual experiment they were used in. This

makes it easy to retrace steps – (helpful for example in case contamination was found)

1. Save the recipe name

2. Calculation is based on volume. You need to fill in this field. Edit inline whenever needed

3. Add ingredients. Please review the next slide for more details on this step

4. Fill in your preparation instructions based on your needs. Hover over the plus icon to add text, table or steps

Leave the weight/volume field empty (it will be automatically calculated)

Choose one of three options to add a paper: 1. Add from Pubmed 2. Manually 3. Import your EndNote library (press on the cog to use this option)

If  you  don’t  have  papers  in  your  account  you’ll  be  directed  to  add  your  first  from  Pubmed.
