Resolution:

1. Insert user in Local Admin group

2. Go to Tools, Trust Center, Add ins, COM Add-ins, check the Enterprise Vault Add-in (if it is unchecked).

3. reset the EV.Client (C:\Program Files\Enterprise Vault\EVClient\ResetEVClient.exe)4. Uncheck the Use Cached Mode Exchange, close and restart Outlook

5. remove user from Local Admin group

6. If user gets this message ‘Cannot load custom form…’, go to the registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID and check the user has permissions settled on read & full, if not check them.
