ADP Offsite 2016 : Kashmir mein !

As per the annual ADP tradition, this year ADP employees were exposed to the beauty that Kashmir has to offer.The trip started from PC Muzzaffarabad which provided amazing views. The city looked like a starry sky at nightand in the morning it gave a lush green view bordered by mountains engulfed in clouds.

While the first few days focused on Goal Setting and Management Staff Awards, other elements of the Offsiteincluded the Retro Night which was a throwback to the 70's. From Jutt to Bob Marley; ADP celebrities wereuninhibitedly sporting their creativity and talent! The night was a celebration for Nael Ahmed's promotion asGeneral Manager West Asia Region. Moreover, the night was followed by live performances that provided aglimpse of what everyone thinks of one other. Needless to say, the hall was left in peals of laughter as anaftermath of these performances.

Other sites visited included Jagran where a team building activity was organized by the Management Traineebatch of 2016-17 which provide an opportunity for everyone to mingle. It was a day packed with a lot of exerciseas bubble soccer had been organized for everyone – or at least the daring! There was also a trip to ShardhaUniversity which was a long drive. In due course, (un)fortunately several talents were discovered; mimicry, singingand acting to name a few. The last stop was PC Bhurban where employees got to unwind and relax in heavenlyviews!

Not only did the offsite rejuvenate everyone, it provided a lot of entertainment and networking opportunities. That said, let’s gear up to deliver better results this year InshaAllah. Three cheers to all the organizers for putting up such a lovely trip!

Qs. How do you feel?

Ans. Elated to know that I have maintained my performance for two months straight

Qs. Did you always want to go in Sales?

Ans. I wanted to become a pilot. I sat for the examination multiple times. Each time I

reached final interview and came second in that so I eventually became frustrated and

gave up. I came into Sales by chance. I was upset and disheartened from not making it in

the interview so I started looking around. I came to Abudawood, handed in my CV and

left. I got a call from my FLM Yasir Shahzad the next day and he said bring your

documents and just like that I was hired in Sales!

Qs. As a student did you have certain strengths?

Ans. I was very good in numbers and math and even as a student I Was very punctual.

Coming from a family of 6 brothers I also have a lot of competition from elders so I always

believed in hard work. However, growing up I became a little bit of a rebel and left my

studies but hard work is something I have always believed in and I think that is the reason

why I am being blessed at work.

Qs. Where do you see yourself in the next 2 years?

Ans. I want to progress further in Abudawood. So hopefully a Supervisor and then a

manager God willing!

This nation was handed to us after a lot of sacrifices. The momentous occasion when the

announcement was made on the All India Lahore Radio on the night of August 13th 1947 at

11:50 pm was a monumental moment for all Pakistanis.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!

Let us respect this land and the precious moments it provides us. Let us hand it over to our

next generation with more care so they can have a better future and the sacrifices of all

those who died to make this land are not in vain.
