    Polluted environment is the most discussed matter in meetings among governmentsfrom different countries. After many controversies, it is agreed that persuading humans allover the world to participate in environmental conservation is the best way to combatpollution. Until now, this activity has not been conducted effectively due to countlessreasons.

    Initially, the importance of environmental protection has been known commonly,nonetheless, some people are willing to do the opposite if it helps them make more profits.As some researches have revealed, this paradox occurs more frequently in developing

    countries where the law is not strictly enforced. During recent years, China has beencovered with a serious obsession since it was investigated that millions of cubic metres of untreated waste water from industrial factories was let out directly into rivers. This actionnot only intensely eliminated the environment but also was believed to result in theformation of cancer villages. Sincerely, without restrictions, humans can do terrible thingsfor their greed.

    To wrestle with the hard issue, various solutions have been nominated togovernments but the best of them is the combination between education and law. Well-educated residents usually possess higher conception than others and they fully appreciatebenefits brought by environmental conservation. Besides, when surviving in the societytightly controlled with rules, humans do not bear to contaminate environment because theirillegal actions will be exchanged with heavy punishments. Consequently, the indispensablerole of education and law in protecting environment cannot be denied.

    In conclusion, I think that polluted environment is the greatest hindrance to thedevelopment of the world. However, humans will overcome this challenge successfully if they can improve education and construct the strict law system.
