Perché il DMX512?E’ uno standard LIBERO comunemente accettato ed ampiamente utilizzato nel mondo del lighting.Nato per il controllo delle luci da teatro, negli ultimi 20 anni si è diffuso in modo massiccio, prima nel settore delle luci per lo spettacolo e successivamente nel mercato nascente dell’illuminazione a LED.Una caratteristica importante di questo protocollo è l'alta velocità di trasmissione (256 Kbps).Basti pensare che è possibile aggiornare tutti e 512 canali del protocollo ben 44 volte al secondo: ne derivano effetti dinamici fl uidi e precisi.Altra peculiarità è quella di gestire il dato di luminosità su 8 bit. Questo consente di variare la luminosità di ogni canale su 256 livelli: ne deriva la capacità di lavorare con profondità di dimmerazione inferiori all’1%.Infi ne, utilizzando uno standard di trasmissione fi sico robusto e affi dabile, quale l’RS485, si riescono a coprire notevoli distanze di comunicazione e far coesistere fi no a 255 dispositivi.Tenendo conto che ogni driver DMX i-Led occupa 4 canali del protocollo DMX 512 è possibile gestire in modo INDIPENDENTE fi no a 128 dispositivi.Caratteristica aggiuntiva dei dispositivi DMX i-Led è quella di utilizzare speciali ricevitori di segnale che consentono di far coesistere sullo stesso BUS DMX 512 fi no a 255 unità invece che delle 32 previste dallo standard.

Why DMX512?Because it’s a consolidated standard now widely used in the world of the lighting applications.Born to satisfy, fi rst, the need of the theater fi eld applications, this protocol in the last 20 years has been very considered on the entertainment applications, as well as, in the LED lighting fi xtures.The main characteristic of this language is the high speed of data transmission (256 kbps). It can up-date all the 512 channels up to 44 times per second, in order to obtain fl uent and precise dynamic effects.Also, this protocol allow to control the brightness of the light with 8 bit and on 256 different levels. As result of this operation, the dimmering of the light can be performed with step smaller than the 1%.Finally, by the use of the RS485 trasmission devicer, very long distance can be achieved, and up to 255 pieces, can be connected together.Considering that each DMX i-LèD controller uses, 4 x DMX512 channel, this means that up to 128 pieces can be connected and controlled individually.As extra charateristic of the i-LèD controllers, is the one to convert on the same DMX512 BUS signal receiver, up to 255 pieces in place of the standard 32.

Gli alimentatori i-LèD sono progettati secondo le più stringenti specifi che di affi dabilità e robustezza. E’ oggi nota a tutti la grande affi dabilità delle lampade LED, per questo i-LèD intende proporre alimentatori che siano all’altezza del loro compito per tutta la durata delle lampade.Componenti di alta qualità, processi di montaggio seguiti nei minimi dettagli, nonché rigidi collaudi al termine di ogni lotto di produzione garantiscono la necessaria affi dabilità.Non resta che prestare attenzione al numero e alla potenza dei led che si desidera alimentare e verifi care meccanicamente le dimensioni della scatola in relazione al tipo e luogo di istallazione.

Si ricorda che nel caso di alimentatori da INCORPORARE è neccessario prevedere un involucro aggiuntivo alla scatola dell’alimentatore ( tipo scatole di derivazione ) per la protezione contro il contatto accidentale con le parti in tensione.

DIMMER

La costante crescita dell’effi cienza luminosa dei led ha raggiunto oggi prestazioni luminose fi no a qualche tempo fa inimmaginabili. Risulta oggi necessario avere la possibilità di parzializzare la luminosità delle lampade a LED. Il nuovo dimmer vuole soddisfare questa esigenza coniugando praticità di installazione.Grazie al sensore ad infrarossi e/o ad un doppio pulsante da incassare a muro è possibile controllare la luminosità a distanza, nonché memorizzarne l’intensità prima dello spegnimento.
