This map illustrates satellite-detected shelters for displacedpersons in the Mugunga 3settlement in Goma. Using aPleiades image collected on 25November 2012, UNOSAT locatedand marked 1,098 shelterstructures in the camp. In addition,39 additional structures were
identified as likely campinfrastructure buildings. New roadshave also recently beenconstructed for likely expansion ofthe camp. This is a preliminaryanalysis and has not yet beenvalidated in the field. Please sendground feedback to UNITAR /UNOSAT.
