Our Ankara-based company was established in 1975, thebirth year of lker Dener. Whe have been working with largeconstruction companies for over 30 years in and aroundAnkara and was subcontracting in interior design anddecoration. When lker Dener became an nterior designer in1999, company broadened its services to consultancy andturnkey interiors. Ilker Interior Design is responsible for greatachievements in domestic and abroad, while maintainingthe quality of Interior Design has come up today. In this house of Ankaras Cankaya district, interior designerIlker Dener got inspired from active lifestyle of the owners.Play of light and reections on each side of the housecreates a different atmosphere, variable and animated.With changes to the oor plan, living space has been raisedto 250m from 200m. After a five-month-long processof change, it became a place that hosts many differentemotions and excitements.

The apartment consists of three roomsand a kitchen lounge intertwined.Wenge oor covering for an extendedhall. 110m of space is divided byIlker Dener which brings functionalityforward. Living room set which wascraeted by Hikmet Furniture is facingthe TV. An L-shaped bracket is usedto separate the hall. Lampshadesdesigned by Ilker Dener hangs overthe bracket giving it a lively color, whileshelves add functionality as a library.

This bracked is followed by a wall and a second sitting

area that faces towards the views of the Botanical Park.With Floor-to-ceiling windows, watching outside from thissection is a pleasure. Another striking aspect of the house isthe transition from the hall into the kitchen. Dining table forten people and chairs from Phlippe Starck has been turned

into a design object. Transparent chairs also help with thevisual continuity. Plexiglass buffet behind the dining table iscolorized by a lighted panel. This adds color to the buffet aswell as the chairs.

Corridor that houses the rooms and the bathrooms gainmeaning with color too. Contrary to the hall this placeappears clear and simple while overhead lighting takes on adifferent identity. This corridor makes the transition from thehallway between rooms and colors so it signals the changefrom a colorful hall to clean and simple bedroom.

WYOURAMSTO

MEREALITYThe master bedroom at the end of the corridor cosists ofdressing and sleeping parts. Ilker Dener did not leave thisspace colorless, he placed colorful lighting over the shagcarpet and elevated bed platform. Same lighting is usedin the parental bathroom to connect it to the bedroom.Lighting allows the use of diffrent color and makes wayfor emotive expressions, this way you can carry the moodthroughout the house.

Home is silent, colors do the talk.

During the first year of project, feasibility studies and costanalysis were performed with the employer. Primarily dueto the earthquake risk of the area, ground for the fieldworkwas built by the method of Jet Grouting. Ground class wasincreased by appliying 1200 Jet Grouts with 18 and 20mheight 80cm thickness.

Bu esnada toplam 4500 ton p42.5imento kullanld. 1 ocak 2012tarihinde harfiyatna balanan otelininaat, ilk misafirlerini 24 kasm 2012tarihinde arlad. Temel kotunun denizseviyesinden 2,5m derinde ve inaat

sahasnn denize 20m mesafedeolmasna ramen iyi bir pompaj sistemikurularak k artlarnda bile(2012Kocaelide son 50 yln en soukk) kaba inaat; 1250 ton demir,10.000m3 betonu toplam 110 gndebitirildi.

Nisan ay ile balayan ince iler 1ekim tarihinde tamamen bitirilerek oteliletmesine teslim edildi.

Meanwhile, a total of 4,500 tons ofp42.5 cement were used. On 1 January2012 the construction of the hotelbegan and welcomed its first guests on

24 November 2012. Even though thefoundation grade is 2,5m below the seaand site is 20m away from the shore, awell established pumping system helpedto lay; 1,250 tons of iron, 10.000m ofconcrete in total of 110 days, even inwinter conditions. (2012, Coldest winterof the last 50 years in Kocaeli)

Trim works began on april and deliveredto customer on first day of october.Hotel houses a total of 147 rooms, 16

hotel suites, 1 king suite and 1 dreamsuite. 600-seat multipurpose room is thelargest in the province of Kocaeli.

A total of 8 meeting rooms and seminar rooms capable of30 to 150 people, 1 indoor 1 outdoor pool, a spa center,an indoor gym, Turkish bath, including 2 private hammam,a sauna complex, 400 people Allday Dining Restaurant,

Roof Restaurant and bar, Lobbybar and a patisserie is alsoavailable inside the hotel.

Ilker Dener and Ulusoy family met in December 2012 inthe process of realizing their dream of making 5-star hotel.Constantly working with the family and Mr. Haluk Ulusoy,they have been friends of destiny from Mr. Haluks words.Ilker Interior Design Ltd. did all the trim work of the projectand served as a sub-contractor. Wall murals, ceramics,glass and mosaics like products were imported by ourcompany as well.
