    Distribute some pictures to the pupils. At a signal, pupilfind your partner by looking for the picture whose name

    2. Fishing GameLet the pupils go fishing (words are written at theback of cut outs of fish which they match with wordsthat rhyme). Place the rhyming words in the pocketchart.

    3. Word Ladder

    The class is divided into four groups. Each group isassigned an area. The teacher gives each group blankword cards and pentel pen. The teacher gives each

    group a word. For a given period, the group shouldthink as many words as possible that rhyme with the

    word given to their group. Pupils write these words onthe blank word cards. The group who make thehighest ladder wins. (Please refer to Learners Material,
