Le biciclette Wilier Triestina vengono sottoposte a una serie di test durante lintero ciclo produttivo.I telai, realizzati con materiale accuratamente selezionato, per entrare in produzione devono superare prove di stress recriteri costrut tivi. Nello stabilimento di Rossano Veneto, prima di accedere al montagg io i telai vengono ulterior mente tprecisione micromillimetrica la resistenza alla torsione. Questa dotazione tecnologica, voluta da Wilier Triestina a ulteriorecon un sistema di pressioni e leve ed in grado di misurare la rigidit dei telai nella serie sterzo, nella scatola del movforcella e nella struttura nel suo complesso. La misurazione elettronica della rigidit ci consente di fornire al Cliente la totdi sicurezza. Inoltre, rappresenta un importante contributo alla progettazione interna e viene utilizzata sia per verificarpersonalizzazioni dei telai richieste dai ciclisti professionisti.

Wilier Triestina bicycles undergo a series of tests as part of their production. The frame prototypes, which are made fromtests before entering into production so as to have the proper specifications. AERODINAMICA COME UNA CRONOIl telaio monoscocca in carbonio di Imperiale non si discosta nellinsieme dalle geometrie tradizionali Wilier Triestina. La sua particolarit rappresentata dalla cura estrema posta sui flussiaerodinamici. Nella concezione delle forme e nella disposizione delle fibre di carbonio si tenuto conto di due principi: ridurre al minimo le superfici frontali mantenendo un grado elevato

di rigidit laterale. Le nervature di rinforzo presenti nei tubi, nella forcella e nel carro, oltre a produrre un effetto estetico molto originale enfatizzano questo concetto, denominato WindFriendly . Le scanalature hanno il vantaggio di apportare pi rigidit senza influire sul peso.

Per realizzare questo telaio Wilier Triestina si avvalsa della collaborazione di John Cobb, lespert o di aerodinamica di fama mondiale che ha disegnato Tri-Crono.Imperiale riprende alcuni concetti base che hanno contribuito al successo di Cento1. Il tubo sella integrato costituisce un elemento unico con il tubo verticale fino allinnesto con la scatola del

movimento centrale. Con questa soluzione il telaio risulta pi stabile, mentre la rientranza per accogliere la ruota posteriore ne aumenta laerodinamicit.Come nella Cento1 la scatola del movimento centrale integrata e di dimensioni maggiorate, mentre il carro (simmetrico, a differenza della Cento1) composto da due elementi monoscocca

che nella parte superior e vanno ad avvolgere lo snodo del tubo sella: un particolare molto estet izzante che si traduce in maggiore solidit.La forma del movimento centrale nasce da accurati studi aerodinamici: linser zione dei foderi crea nella parte inferior e due profili a pinna che scorrono per tutt a la sua lunghezza.

La forcella e i forcellini posteriori presentano una sezione alare aerodinamica con spessori ridotti.Lo sterzo sagomato in modo da offrire la minima resistenza allaria ed punto dincontro dei profili di rinforzo. Le linee della forcella proseguono nella scatola sterzo senza sbalzi di

superficie. Laerodinamica del tubo obliquo accentuata dalla presenza di una pinna di evidente ispirazione crono.
