With harmonic pressure, move the finger rapidly and irregularly.
Tremolo alternating normal and harmonic pressure
Bowing behind the bridge
Bowing on top of the bridge
Bowing on the wrapped part of the strings by the tailpiece

Air note
Air and normally produce note
Normal note
Air-pitch transitions
W.T. Whistle tones (flute)
Special forms of WT (flute): Cover the entire mouthpiece with the lips. The teeth are loosely
enclosed by the lips and do not touch the embouchure plate. With the tip of the tongue filling
the lower part of the embouchure hole, the air stream flows over the tongue into the upper
part of the embouchure hole and a high WT with a clearly defined tone is created.
The resulting pitches are also based on the harmonic series and can be controlled by
changing the air pressure.
Bisbigliando: use alternative fingerings to change tone colour
Slap
Speaking and playing: articulate the indicated phoneme whilst providing enough air to create
the resonance
Harmonics
Multiphonics: only embochure, the higher the harmonics, the more the jaw should move
towards the base of the reed
PIANO

Glass
Soft timpani mallets
SB Super ball
E-bow
Soft rubber tube (e.g. bicycle)
Brush
Nail
Playing techniques:

Harmonics: touch the appropriate node of the given string inside the piano lightly
before touching the key (change the fundamental if necessary in order to get the
harmonic)
Remove the pedal gradually
Fast scrape upwards the indicated string with the fingernail
Rub a Brush on the tuning pins of the lowest strings
Sweep the string with a Super ball mallet
Tremolo on the strings with two soft timpani mallets
