Reduktion der Energie bedingten Umweltbelastung
Optimierung/Pflege existierender Systeme
Expansion/Neue Methoden Verstärkte Integration von:
– Erneuerbaren Quellen auf allen Spannungsebenen
– Elektrifizierten Verbrauchern welche vorher fossile Brennstoffe benötigten (Elektroauto, Wärmepumpe,.etc.)

Electricity market may create congestion and stability problems
The challenges
Change in fuel mix towards electricity
Active customer participation: Millions of small (intermittent) sources
14
The challenges Increased number of remote high
capacity generation (wind,solar,coal,hydro)
Increasing interaction with the environment
Modification of network architecture
More intelligence of system operation and control, ”cyber security”
Technology needed: apparatus, materials
Electric energy storage
Liberalized electricity market may create congestion, stability problems
Many renewable sources are intermittent (Europe> 200 GW wind)
More electricity for the consumer (electric vehicles, heat pumps)
Millions (Billions) Small intermittent sources “Prosumer”
Significant increase of electric transport capacity

regulatorischer Vorgaben
