Management packs are generally vendor authored and can include:

Management Packs
Management packs are simple to import and should their rules can be overridden to suite your requirements.
Always copy a management pack and make the changes to the copy.
Monitoring - Alerting

– When? Business hours, non business hours.
– What channels? SMS, Email?
• Who owns the alerting process?
– How do we confirm its working?
– How do we ensure alert action?
