Dalam penentuan Intensitas curah hujan digunakan dan dibandingkan
beberapa rumus untuk digunakan yaitu :
1. Rumus Talbot (1881)
2. Rumus Shermen (1905)
3. Rumus Ishigora
4. Rumus Dr. Mononobe

t = Lamanya curah hujan (menit)
R24 = Curah hujan maksimal 24 jam (mm)
