• Adjectives in the Spanish language must agree in gender, and number with the nouns they modify
• Gender: -If a noun is masculine (el muchacho), the adjective must agree with that gender (alto) -Likewise, if a noun is feminine (la muchacha), the adjective must agree with that gender (alta)
