What is World class Civic Amenities?

• The Amenities which complete more then basic requirement of the people.

• The requirement of the cities consist the fulfillment of Education, Transport, Electricity/Energy, Health, Drainage & Sewage, Clean water supply, Roads, Civil Infrastructure, tourism facilities.

The Vision(from Govt.)

• “To facilitate creation of economically vibrant, inclusive, efficient and sustainable urban habitats”.

• Consistent with the vision, the Mission is to “promote cities as engines of economic growth through improvement in the quality of urban life by facilitating creation of quality urban infrastructure, with assured service levels and efficient governance”.

Education

• World class Education facilities in Govt. Schools and colleges.

• Public Private partnership should be developed in the education.

Transport

• Public Transport facility like City Bus, Trains, Metro, and other facilities. with world class facilities.

• Integrated transport system should be applied.

Electricity/Energy

• Generation of Electricity with excess facility up to 1.5 times electricity then actual required.

• Renewable Energy source for generation of electricity like wind, garbage, etc.

• We should promote Electric vehicles.

Health

• Need world class facility in Govt. Hospitals. Like cleanliness, best doctors with good salary.

Drainage & Sewage.

• As we have seen that if the rainfall exceeds then the water get logged on the roads. the best example is where the flood came in 1998 and 2006, now 5-7 metres dia. Drainage pipes are installed besides roads.

Clean Water Supply.

• The corporation/ Govt. need to deploy the manpower in each area of 5Km radius to check the quality of water with Chemical test.

Roads and Civil infrastructure

• Developed Roads, example of Bangalore where on Raj Bhavan Road the road is made up of waste plastic. It is a low cost and reutilization of waste.

• World class building projects. Govt. quarters for the people in slums.,

• Need to restrict the Vegetables, food stalls on roads. etc.

Tourism.

• If the tourism facilities will increases the foreign interest in the country will get increases. And economic development will get boost (As by more foreign currency will come in the country, the value of rupee will increases.)

Conclusion

• As the population grows rapidly the city need to fulfill the requirements of the people.

• The government should be capable to take the decision and implement fast on it.

• The motto should be: “Produced by itself, and consumed by itself.”
